00:00The government is extending efforts to locate the missing crew members of the sunken Honghai-16 in Occidental Mindoro as the death toll continues to rise.

00:09Dayan Gurembalem from the Philippine Information Agency, Mimaropa, has the details.

00:15The death toll in the capsized sand vessel Honghai-16 in Rizal Occidental Mindoro rises to nine as another two bodies were recovered by the Philippine Coast Guard Special Operations Group on Sunday.

00:30We're still doing the underwater search operation, considering that there are two missing individuals.

00:35We're also doing the technical driving group of National Headquarters with the Special Operations Group of Coast Guard District of Southern Tagalog.

00:46According to PCG's initial investigation, the M.V. Honghai was manned by 25 crew, comprising 13 Filipinos and 12 Chinese nationals.

00:56It also carried sand, almost 2,000 liters of lube oil, and 30,000 liters of automotive diesel oil when it capsized as it prepared to sail on April 15.

01:08The PCG has deployed oil spill booms in the area as a preparation for an oil spill.

01:14Aside from underwater search operation, mayroon din tayong separate teams na tinatawag na marim environmental protection group sa Philippine Coast Guard na nagkakandak ng cyber patrol monitoring within the vicinity of the Bersel.

01:31So aside from that, may shoreline patrol monitoring team din tayo na...

01:36The local government commended the PCG swift efforts on the incident.
