One motorcyclist died while two others were seriously injured after crashing their motorcycles into a car at a traffic light junction in Kampung Raja Uda, Klang, Selangor on Sunday (April 20) morning.

00:21Assistant Commissioner Ramli Kasa said the 22-year-old local man was pronounced dead at the
00:27scene. The other two victims, aged 22 and 16, sustained serious injuries to their bodies and
00:33legs and were rushed to Tengku Ampuan Rahima Hospital in Klang for treatment. The driver of
00:39the car was unharmed. The crash, which occurred around 4.10 a.m., is believed to have taken place
00:45when the car, travelling from Port Klang towards Jalan Kim Chuan, was turning right at the Kampung
00:51Raja Uda intersection under a green light. At the same time, a group of motorcyclists
00:57heading from Klang towards Port Klang allegedly ran a red light and crashed into the vehicle.
01:03Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact the investigating officer,
01:08Inspector Mohammed Khairul Nizam Abdul Talib, at 0102452144. Ramli also issued a reminder to parents
01:18and guardians to closely monitor teenagers and prevent them from engaging in reckless or gang-related
01:24street activities that endanger themselves and other road users. The case is being investigated
01:30under section 41, subsection 1 of the Road Transport Act, 1987.
