00:00How about some guys that are rehabbing? Let's talk about Brian Baio of the Red Sox. So he had
00:05a shoulder issue. He's recovering from seven strikeouts Wednesday in the rehab start. So that
00:10is positive. And they can use some help too, because if you look ahead, you'd see that
00:13Fitz went on the IL earlier this week. So he has been unavailable. We got Lucas Giolito working his
00:20way back in this rotation, Cutter Crawford too. So somebody's got to come back sooner than later
00:24here. Brian Baio, one of those guys that could be floating around the waiver wire that could
00:27actually help your fantasy rotations. Another guy to Ranger Suarez, not that the Phillies need too
00:33much help in that rotation, because it's pretty solid to begin with. He's working his way back
00:37from a back issue, seven strikeouts in four innings. So he's going to ramp up again. I expect at least
00:43one more rehab start from him. If he went forward last time, we're probably going to get to that
00:47five or six, somewhere near that 90 pitch mark would be my assumption there. So that's a good
00:51sign also for the Philadelphia Phillies. And then Yuri Perez, this is the one that really interests me,
00:56that because the timetable for Perez originally, we're talking, oh, sometime maybe late July. Now
01:02the new timetable we've been given, because things have gone so well for him again, young player
01:06dominant last year, when he had the opportunity before the elbow injury struck, he is one month
01:12away from a rehab assignment. So if we're going to do the math now we're looking at, it's the 20th of
01:16April. So we're looking now right before Memorial day. If he starts the rehab assignment again,
01:23not rehab, just assignment. Now we're actually going to go out and pitch. Then you're looking
01:28at potentially getting him back mid to late June. Now that's much faster than the end of July.
01:33That is a significant bounce. And Yuri Perez is still available in a lot of shallow leagues.
01:38So if you're at a point where you have enough IL room to stash a Yuri Perez,
01:43he becomes a fascinating stash because we're talking about one of the best young pitchers in baseball.
01:47And Craig Mish here over on the channel, he's the Marlins man about talent. He'll be the first
01:53guy to tell you what a special prospect he is. 91 innings last year, he had a 315 ERA
01:58at the age of 20. The K per nine, very strong here. We're looking at a guy who is one of those elite
02:0510.6 guys, right? Well beyond his years in terms of talented seasoning. And it allows the Marlins then
02:14to look for Sandy Alcantara deals and bring up Yuri Perez, hopefully to take over that rotation the
02:21rest of the season. And that we all knew he was going to be limited, maybe a hundred innings at
02:24the most anyway. So this is actually really positive. And I think a great bit of news here
02:30that dropped a few days ago that might've kind of flown under the radar. Yuri Perez. I know he's
02:36very young. I know the sample size was small, but am I overselling what he could mean to a fancy
02:42rotation down the stretch, especially one that may be loss of Justin Steele?
