00:00My name is Sophie and I am one half of Notfield Vines.
00:04In 2022, myself and one of my best friends, Laura, established a vineyard,
00:08despite the scepticism about the Yorkshire weather.
00:11We planted over 3,000 vines across two acres in two different varieties
00:15and those great varieties are processed in the traditional method, like champagne,
00:19to produce incredible English sparkling wine in rosé and in white.
00:23The land itself is very special to me.
00:25I grew up here and the brand, Notfield, we hope will do the land justice.
00:31We're very excited to see how the brand will grow and have big plans for the future
00:35in terms of expansion, tasting, tours.
00:38But in the meantime, we're enjoying the huge local support that we've received.
00:42Our first two batches sold out within six weeks
00:45and so we're hoping for another bumper crop this year and another sellout summer.
