00:00Hi, so today I'm just going to show you guys a quick demo of how to create accounts in the system.

00:08So for this example, I'm currently logged into the sandbox environment and on the accounts tab

00:14as shown by the highlight in the panel above. So from this screen, in order to create an account,

00:20I simply have to click the new button on the top right of the screen.

00:26And this pulls up a list of potential types of accounts that I can create

00:30So for this example, I'm going to stick with Advertiser and click Next.

00:35Now on this screen where I have to enter the information in order to create my account,

00:40I obviously have to first enter the name of the account. So for the purpose of this example,

00:48I am going to create Coca-Cola Florida. The next thing I have to do is search for a master account,

00:56which is the parent account in this case. And in order to do that,

01:00the best practice for me is to always look for a corresponding value in the parent account field.

01:06Now, as soon as I type it out, I see that there is a Coca-Cola present in the system

01:11and that it is a master advertiser. So that is the corresponding value in this situation.

01:17I'll go ahead and click that. And after that, it's basically the same flow. I can fill in other

01:22required information as necessary and just save the account.

01:26So what if there is no master account present in the system? Let's say that I want to create an account

01:35for ESPN. And when I look up ESPN in the parent account field, I see that there is no master account

01:43present in the system. That is, there is no corresponding value. So in this situation,

01:50we have actually created what we call a placeholder account. As soon as you type it out, you will see the

01:57options populated and you'll find there is a master advertiser as well as a master agency placeholder.

02:04And since we are trying to create an advertiser in this case, I am just going to go ahead and select the

02:11master advertiser placeholder account. And this is what you will have to do whenever you are trying

02:17to create an account where there is no master account present in the system. So once you have

02:23selected this placeholder account, the flow is pretty much the same. I can go ahead and fill out other

02:29required information, hit save, and that is that. So it's a simple process. However, if you do have
