00:26Well, speaking of real drummers, Steve Gorman from the Black Crows is on my Talkin' Rockwood Meltdown podcast.
00:31Now, he's got this book out called Hard to Handle, The Life and Death of the Black Crows.
00:35And let's just say he's not a fan of Brothers Robinson.
00:44Now, has Rich or Chris read the book or you're not in contact with Chris, I'm imagining, right?
00:50I'm not in contact with either one of them.
00:52And I know that they were both very upset that I was writing the book.
00:57They don't even care what's in it.
00:59They hate that I would have the audacity to establish a narrative, you know, because in their mind, it's all about them.
01:06And they'll probably be on the road soon together with a whole new band calling it The Black Crows.
01:10And that'll be fine if people want to go here Hard to Handle every night.
01:14That's totally cool.
01:15But it's not the band that I gave my life to for 27 years and that a lot of other people did, too.
01:21That's just two guys in their 50s who paint themselves into a corner going out and playing music.
01:26And again, they have every right to do that.
01:29But my book is about a band.
01:30It's not about a brand.
01:31Yeah.
01:32Yeah, because, man, last time I talked to Rich, I didn't get any sense that he was going to be doing anything with Chris anytime in the near future at all.
01:39I don't think that's either one of them.
01:41I don't think either one of them wants to do it.
01:44I mean, in a perfect world, I don't think they'd ever be in the same room together again.
01:47I just don't think they have a lot of options right now.
