In an exclusive video for GB News members, Carole Malone has said the Supreme Court’s unanimous ruling on the legal definition of sex marks a significant turning point in the ongoing debate around gender and women’s rights in the UK.Speaking in response to the decision, Malone said the ruling establishes clearly that sex is binary - stating that "there is a man and there is a woman." She described the judgment as one that "changes everything," particularly in relation to how institutions treat biological sex and gender identity. She said “What we have to do now is concentrate on the women who have had their freedoms curtailed by trans activists in this country.”Carole spoke on the practical impacts of the decision on women saying “Now women in sport, women who are sent to refuges, women in hospitals, women in all sorts of institutions are going to have their safe spaces and their rights back.”

00:00This unanimous ruling by Supreme Court judges yesterday changes everything now.
00:06They have ruled that there are two sexes, that sex is binary.
00:10There is the man and there's the woman.
00:13And while the judges were clear about there must not be discrimination against trans women or men,
00:20what we have to do now is concentrate on the women who have had their freedoms curtailed by the trans activists in this country.
00:29Everything has to change now. Institutions have to change. The NHS has to change.
00:33The police service has to change. They're already rewriting their guidance for how they treat women.
00:40The NHS particularly has been corrupted by this gender ideology, which the court says just shouldn't exist.
00:47But the NHS now has to give back women their safe spaces and hospitals.
00:51We have to have single sex wards again because for too long, people who have objected to this gender ideology,
00:58there are people out there who say there are 100 genders.
01:01There are teachers in this country teaching children that they can identify as a starfish if they want to.
01:07This is just nonsense and it has to stop.
01:10And that's where this ruling is so important because now women in sport,
01:16women who are sent to refuges, women in hospitals, women in all sorts of institutions
01:21are going to have their safe spaces and their rights back.
