00:00Now a moment of triumph approaches!
00:02Ha ha ha ha ha!
00:04It's dinner time!
00:07Welcome to Ms. Mojo.
00:10And today, we're counting down our picks of Disney's craziest villains,
00:13on a scale of mildly manic to totally deranged.
00:17Twist villains are included, so watch out for spoilers.
00:20But I don't want to go among mad people.
00:23Oh, you can't help that.
00:25Most everyone's mad here.
00:27Number 30. Clayton, Tarzan
00:31Although Clayton tries hard to keep his dark side under wraps,
00:35the trigger-happy hunter can't fully disguise his foul temper and sadistic streak.
00:40He joins the Porter's research trip as a bodyguard,
00:42but his grand plan is to poach gorillas for profit.
00:45I'm so sorry about the rude welcome, old boy,
00:48but I couldn't have you making a scene when we put your furry friends in their cages.
00:55Why?
00:55Why?
00:55Why? For 300 pounds stirring a head?
01:00With his total disdain for the natural world and a tendency to shoot first, ask questions later,
01:06Clayton is not exactly a calming presence.
01:08It's only in the final act of the movie that he reveals just how unhinged he really is.
01:13Tarzan may have been raised by apes,
01:15but in his last showdown with Clayton, it's obvious who has the most humanity.
01:19Go ahead, shoot me.
01:21I'm not a man like you!
01:36Number 29. Lady Tremaine, Cinderella
01:40Turning your stepdaughter into a servant is undoubtedly cruel,
01:44but when Lady Tremaine starts losing her grip on Cinderella,
01:47her behavior becomes increasingly deranged.
01:50Wait.
01:51There is something familiar about her.
01:54When Cinderella finds herself a dress fit for the ball,
01:57her stepmother sets her daughters to rip it to shreds.
02:00When she discovers that Cinderella managed to attend the ball,
02:03she locks her in her room to hide her from the prince.
02:06When our heroine breaks free, Lady Tremaine dares to smash the glass slipper.
02:11Risking the wrath of the royals just to spite your stepdaughter?
02:13These are not the actions of a sane woman.
02:15It seems we have time on our hands.
02:18But I was only trying to-
02:19Silence!
02:23Time for vicious, practical jokes.
02:26Number 28. Dr. Facilier, The Princess and the Frog
02:30Messing around with voodoo is always going to cause trouble,
02:33but Dr. Facilier loves a bit of chaos.
02:36The charismatic witch doctor, also known as the Shadow Man,
02:40lets his ambition to rule New Orleans lead him to some dark places,
02:43with the help of his friends on the other side.
02:45And you have all the wayward souls your dark little heart's desire.
02:56You love that, don't you?
02:58He's a smart man and a smooth talker, but also mad as a box of frogs.
03:03The sadistic sorcerer revels in the misfortunes of others
03:06and enjoys the fear his reputation inspires.
03:09Even while presenting a respectable face to the world,
03:11his sentient shadow reflects his true and terrifying nature.
03:16I can read your future
03:17I can change and round some too
03:20I look deep into your heart and soul
03:24You do have a soul, don't you, Lawrence?
03:26Make your wildest dreams come true
03:28Number 27. Gaston, Beauty and the Beast
03:32He eats five dozen eggs a day,
03:35he's arrogant to the point of delusion,
03:37and when it comes to Belle,
03:38no one's as crazy as Gaston.
03:40You should probably propose to your intended before you plan a wedding,
03:44and having her father committed is not the fastest way to a girl's heart.
03:48I might be able to clear up this little misunderstanding,
03:52if...
03:53If what?
03:54If you marry me.
03:56What?
03:57One little word, Belle, that's all it takes.
04:00Never!
04:00Gaston only becomes truly unhinged when he realizes that he's not about to get his own way.
04:05Using fear and hate to fuel the fire,
04:07he whips up an angry mob and moves to destroy his romantic rival.
04:12He taunts the Beast at his weakest,
04:14and he revels in it.
04:15But it's never really about Belle.
04:17It's all about his ego.
04:18Were you in love with her, Beast?
04:21Did you honestly think she'd want you
04:24when she had someone like me?
04:26Number 26. Prince Hans, Frozen
04:29However you feel about Disney twist villains,
04:32you can't deny that the Prince Hans reveal was chilling.
04:36Oh, Anna.
04:38If only there was someone out there who loved you.
04:41When the stereotypical handsome prince turned out to be a stone-cold sociopath,
04:45it felt like the fairy tale world had been turned on its head.
04:48Cozying up to Anna just so he could get close enough to murder her sister and steal her throne
04:53was certainly an ambitious plan.
04:55It was less the scale of the plot and more the total lack of remorse
04:59that marked Hans out as an unbalanced individual.
05:02As heir, Elsa was preferable, of course,
05:04but no one was getting anywhere with her.
05:06But you, you were so desperate for love,
05:09you were willing to marry me just like that.
05:13I figured after we'd married,
05:15I'd have to stage a little accident for Elsa.
05:17There were no sympathetic asides for Anna,
05:19no flash of empathy or suggestion of regret.
05:22He went full evil, and you have to admire the commitment to the bit.
05:38He started as a good guy with a tragic past,
05:42just trying to make a difference.
05:44Sadly, King Magnifico let his ego get the better of him.
05:47What else is a dictator but an egomaniac with too much power?
05:50You've completely missed the point.
05:52People come here because they know they can't make their own dreams come true.
05:55The journey is too hard.
05:57It is too unfair.
05:58They give their wishes to me, willingly,
06:01and I make it so they forget their worries.
06:04Arrogance, greed, and paranoia
06:06all contribute to Magnifico's change from benevolent leader to tyrant,
06:10as does his use of dark magic.
06:13As he grows less sympathetic,
06:14he starts to embrace the crazy.
06:16Despite Magnifico's protests that he has the people's best interests at heart,
06:20the king begins to revel in acts of cruelty,
06:23such as destroying wishes.
06:25He can still sell a song, though.
06:26I give and give and give and give.
06:29You'd think they'd all be content.
06:31All I really want is just a little respect.
06:35And this is the thanks I get.
06:37Number 24.
06:39Doris and the Bowler Hat Guy.
06:41Meet the Robinsons.
06:43One of the most deranged Disney twist villains of all time
06:45has to be the Bowler Hat Guy,
06:47a.k.a. Mike Yagubian,
06:49a.k.a. Goob,
06:50the protagonist's tiny and unassuming roommate.
06:53I know I'm disgusting,
06:56but one learns to love it.
06:57How'd you end up like this?
06:59As it transpires,
07:00Goob has been nursing an all-consuming grudge against Louis
07:02ever since he got adopted.
07:05Joining forces with an evil robotic Bowler Hat named Doris,
07:08the adult Goob steals a time machine
07:10and plans to use it to exact a terrible revenge.
07:13You're right.
07:14Success is still ours for the taking.
07:20We must find that boy.
07:22Doris is even more unhinged than her stooge,
07:28being bent on world domination.
07:30However, it's Goob who lingers with us,
07:32as a reminder to keep moving forward
07:34and not let resentment turn us into crazy obsessives in Bowler Hats.
07:38No!
07:39Everyone will tell you to let it go and move on,
07:42but don't.
07:43Instead, let it fester and boil inside of you.
07:47Take these feelings and lock them away.
07:49Let them fuel your actions.
07:50Let hate be your ally,
07:53and you will be capable of wonderfully horrid things.
07:57Number 23.
07:58Dawn Bellwether, Zootopia.
08:00She may look like a sweet civil servant,
08:02but Assistant Mayor Bellwether is more like a wolf in sheep's clothing.
08:06No offense to wolves, of course.
08:08Underestimated, underappreciated.
08:11Aren't you sick of it?
08:13While presenting an innocent face to the world,
08:15she plots to turn predators savage with medicinal means
08:18to turn society against them.
08:20As an added perk, she's hoping to get her boss fired
08:23and make herself mayor of all Zootopia.
08:25This extreme scheme is driven by Bellwether's prejudice and hatred.
08:29She eagerly anticipates the fear and division it will cause.
08:33In summary, she's one psychopathic sheep.
08:35Gosh, think of the headline.
08:38Hero cop killed by savage fox.
08:43So that's it?
08:44Prey, fierce, predator, and you stay in power?
08:47Yeah, pretty much.
08:49Number 22.
08:50Shan Yu, Mulan.
08:52The Han leader is the kind of villain who enjoys his work,
08:55whether he's climbing trees, burning villages, or shooting the messenger.
08:59And he's committed, too.
09:01Even the Great Wall of China won't stop him.
09:03Go!
09:04Tell your emperor to send his strongest armies.
09:08I'm ready.
09:09In fact, Shan Yu probably takes his determination a little too far.
09:14When your army of thousands is decimated by an avalanche,
09:17you should probably stop and regroup before storming the Imperial City.
09:21With a gleam in his golden eyes and his falcon familiar at his side,
09:24Shan Yu is a terrifying presence.
09:27You can never tell what he'll do next.
09:38It looks like you're out of ideas.
09:40Number 21.
09:42The Horned King, The Black Cauldron.
09:44Although he's one of Disney's scariest villains,
09:46The Horned King presents as fairly cool and collected.
09:49However, his master plan is completely unhinged.
09:53Soon the Black Cauldron will be mine.
09:58Its evil power will course through my veins.
10:04And I shall make you cauldron-born.
10:11Step 1.
10:12Kidnap a farm boy and his pig.
10:14Step 2.
10:15Force said pig to look into the future and tell you where a magic cauldron is.
10:19And step 3.
10:21Use said cauldron to take over the world.
10:23Because why not?
10:25Arise, my messengers of death.
10:29Our time has arrived.
10:33Naturally, The Horned King is surrounded by wicked henchmen,
10:36reminiscent of Maleficent's goblin stooges.
10:38And his evil lair is a den of vice.
10:41He's got the Dark Lord aesthetic down,
10:43and he's crazy enough to enjoy it.
10:45Only moments away from victory.
10:50My greatest triumph.
10:54Number 20.
10:55Madame Medusa, The Rescuers.
10:57In early incarnations of The Rescuers,
10:59Disney considered bringing back Cruella de Vil as the antagonist.
11:03Which may explain why Madame Medusa shares some of her crazy characteristics.
11:08Medusa may have an erratic driving style,
11:10a terrible temper,
11:11and some materialistic tendencies,
11:14but she is at least fond of animals.
11:16My precious pets.
11:20We know who caught that ungrateful little brat, don't we?
11:24Her pet Crocs, Brutus and Nero, are her babies.
11:28Which marks her out as eccentric, to say the least.
11:31The way she treats poor Penny suggests that she's a total sociopath.
11:35Give me back my teddy bear.
11:37He's mine, he's mine.
11:44You get down there and find the big diamond,
11:48or you will never see that teddy again.
11:51This vindictive villainess is greedy, manipulative, and diamond-obsessed.
11:56If also a little bit fabulous.
11:58Number 19.
12:00Percival C. McLeach, The Rescuers Down Under.
12:03Like Madame Medusa, McLeach is a villain firmly rooted in reality.
12:07The poacher is a human man without magic powers or special gifts,
12:11but he's no less effective for that.
12:13Like his predecessor from the first movie,
12:15he also has a reptile familiar,
12:17and a penchant for kidnapping children.
12:19My mama called the rangers!
12:22Oh no, not the rangers, what'll I do?
12:25What'll I do?
12:26Don't let your ma call the rangers, please!
12:29Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
12:32My poor baby boy!
12:35Got eaten by the crocodiles!
12:37Boo hoo hoo!
12:39While Medusa saw Penny merely as a means to an end,
12:42McLeach seems to revel in torturing his captive.
12:44His most memorable moment has to be the scene in which he suspends Cody over a ravine full of crocodiles,
12:51singing gleefully all the while.
12:53Looks like someone's gotta screw loose.
12:55That's impersonal, boy, but I wouldn't want to disappoint the rangers.
13:00They was looking so hard for you,
13:02and now, they're gonna fight!
13:05At first glance, Frollo seems like a cruel and calculating kind of villain,
13:15as evidenced by his cold-hearted treatment of Quasimodo.
13:18However, it quickly becomes apparent that he's all kinds of crazy.
13:21You know, my last captain of the guard was, um, a bit of a disappointment to me.
13:27Well, no matter. I'm sure you'll whip my men into shape.
13:32Unmoved by the pain of others, the judge is clearly lacking in any empathy.
13:36It's not until Esmeralda comes into the picture that he begins to lose his cool.
13:41Driven by his obsession with the Romany girl,
13:43he burns down half of Paris in an attempt to find Esmeralda and eradicate her people.
13:47In addition to being a genocidal maniac, he's also a massive creep.
13:53What are you doing?
13:54I was just imagining a rope around that beautiful neck.
13:59I know what you're imagining.
14:01Number 17. The Coachman, Pinocchio.
14:04Does there exist a more sinister villain in all of the Disney canon than The Coachman from Pinocchio?
14:09The movie has its share of bad guys, from Honest John to Stromboli the Puppet Master,
14:14but The Coachman has to be the craziest.
14:16How would you blokes like to make some real money?
14:22Well, and who do we have to, uh...
14:25No, no. Nothing like that.
14:31He's rounding up boys at Pleasure Island and tricking them into bad behavior
14:34through the seductive vices of cigarettes, pool, and fun at the fair.
14:38His end goal? Turning them into donkeys and selling them into servitude
14:42to live out the rest of their days as helpless animals.
14:44With the evidence before us, we'd say he's sick, sadistic, and more than a little unhinged.
14:50But the law? Suppose they...
14:52No, no. There's no fist.
14:56They never come back...
14:59as boys.
15:02Number 16. Maleficent, Sleeping Beauty.
15:05Maleficent is definitely one of Disney's most charismatic villains,
15:09and she wields more power than most.
15:11Still, it has to be said that she's not exactly sane.
15:15Seize that creature!
15:16Stand back, you fool!
15:18After putting a deadly curse on a newborn baby,
15:27she spends the next 16 years obsessing over her victim and trying to track her down.
15:32And all because she wasn't invited to a christening.
15:34You weren't wanted.
15:37Not...
15:37Oh dear, what an awkward situation.
15:42Our favorite Wicked Fairy has an unpredictable temper
15:45and has also been known to lure princes to the woods for capture.
15:48When it comes to crazy, she saves the best for last.
15:52Maleficent in her dragon form is something to behold.
15:55Now shall you deal with me, oh prince, and all the powers of hell!
16:07Number 15. King Candy, Wreck-It Ralph.
16:11Turbo always thought of himself as a good guy,
16:14back when he starred in the most popular game in the arcade.
16:17Neglected by his previously adoring public,
16:19he let himself be ruled by jealousy, and it sent him over the edge.
16:23I'm Turbo, the greatest racer ever!
16:28And I did not reprogram this world to let you,
16:31and that holocaust, this riddled warthog, take it away from me!
16:36Turbo turned his attention to new hunting grounds,
16:39game jumping into new territory,
16:41and eventually stealing Vanellope's throne and proclaiming himself king.
16:44As twist villains go, he was an effective antagonist with a lot of charisma.
16:49Villains who can maintain a dual personality are always more threatening,
16:53and we love to hate an unhinged king.
16:55I'm now the most powerful virus in the arcade!
17:00I can take over any game I want!
17:02I should thank you, but it'd be more fun to kill you!
17:06Number 14. Prince John, Robin Hood.
17:10He throws an angry tantrum when he cannot have his way,
17:13he calls for mom, sucks his thumb, and doesn't want to play.
17:16Too late to be known as John the First.
17:19He's sure to be known as John the Worst.
17:23The fabulous, marvelous, merciful, shiverless...
17:27Oh, you got it all wrong, yes?
17:29The smiveling, groveling, weaselly...
17:32Get out!
17:33The people of Nottingham may mock,
17:35but Prince John is nastier than it first appears.
17:38When driven to the edge,
17:39Bad King John can be a terrible tyrant,
17:42flying off the handle at the slightest provocation.
17:44If he's feeling generous,
17:46he might hike up the taxes and imprison half the local population.
17:49If he's in a really bad mood,
17:51it's the axe or the hangman's noose for whoever gets in his way.
17:54If you really want to rile him,
17:56just mention his mother.
17:58Mother?
18:00Mother always did like Richard Best.
18:05Number 13. Captain Hook, Peter Pan.
18:09We think we can safely say that Captain Hook's long-running feud with Peter Pan
18:13is a severely unhealthy obsession.
18:15Years of taunts from the boy who never grew up,
18:18combined with crocodile-induced paranoia,
18:21has driven Hook to his wit's end.
18:23And his crew don't help much.
18:24Roll for the ship!
18:26Roll for the ship!
18:28This petulant pirate is quick to anger,
18:31but slow to let go of a grudge.
18:33For Hook, the kidnapping and torturing of children
18:35seems a perfectly reasonable pastime.
18:37He's also a master of manipulation.
18:39But shooting a man in the middle of his cadenza?
18:42It ain't good form, you know.
18:44Good form, Mr. Smee?
18:47But good form!
18:48Did Pan show good form when he did this to me?
18:52Number 12. Mother Gothel, Tangled.
18:55Mother Gothel's villainy is more subtle than many on this list,
18:59but the way she treats Rapunzel is truly unhinged.
19:02As you know, tomorrow is a very big day.
19:04Look in that mirror.
19:05You know what I see?
19:07I see a strong, confident, beautiful young lady.
19:12Oh, look, you're here too.
19:13Gothel raises the princess as her own for 18 years,
19:17but still she cares nothing for her adopted daughter.
19:19Aside from what she can get from her,
19:21it's the girl's power, her magical healing hair,
19:24that has Gothel in thrall.
19:26She'll do anything to hang on to that eternal youth,
19:28whether it's manipulation, murder,
19:31or locking Rapunzel in a tower for the rest of her days.
19:34Cold-hearted and narcissistic,
19:36she's untroubled by her evil deeds
19:38and seems to enjoy the hurt she inflicts.
19:40You want me to be the bad guy?
19:43Fine.
19:44Now I'm the bad guy.
19:46Number 11. Scar, The Lion King.
19:50Like many Disney villains,
19:51Scar's lust for power is the driving force
19:53behind some despicable decisions.
19:56He's an egomaniac with a deep resentment
19:58of his elder brother,
19:59and it makes for a deadly combo.
20:02Long live the king.
20:08Fratricide isn't even the worst of it.
20:11Scar cements his wicked uncle credentials
20:13by blaming Simba for his father's death
20:15before sending a pack of hyenas
20:17to hunt him down and finish him off.
20:19Run away and never return.
20:22Kill him.
20:30With an army of these crazed scavengers at his back,
20:33Scar wants to be king of the Pride Lands
20:35without doing any of the work.
20:37He's prepared to watch the world burn
20:39just as long as he's ruling over the wreckage.
20:41Be king undisputed, respected, saluted,
20:45and seen for the wonder I am.
20:49Yes, my teeth and ambitions are bad.
20:53Be prepared.
20:56Number 10.
20:57Governor Ratcliffe, Pocahontas.
20:59Greed is another common denominator
21:01when it comes to Disney villains,
21:03and Governor Ratcliffe has it in spades.
21:06He's come to the New World for cold, hard cash,
21:08and that is it.
21:10Not for adventure,
21:11and certainly not to build relationships
21:12with the native people.
21:14Wins, why do you think
21:15those insolent heathens attacked us?
21:17Because we invaded their land
21:18and cut down their trees
21:19and dug up their earth.
21:21It's the gold.
21:22They have it,
21:23and they don't want us to take it from them.
21:25Well, I'll just have to take it by force then.
21:28Won't I?
21:29Ratcliffe is a murderous manipulator,
21:31ready to spread his brand of hatred and prejudice
21:33to whoever will listen.
21:35He doesn't see Pocahontas and her people
21:37as humans of equal worth to himself.
21:39To Ratcliffe and his ilk,
21:41they are simply a problem to be dealt with.
21:43A barrier between him
21:44and the wealth he believes he is owed.
21:46And putting profit before people
21:48is surely a sign of madness, no?
21:50Lies!
21:50All of it!
21:51Murderous thieves!
21:52There's no room for their kind
21:53and civilized society.
21:55But this is their land!
21:56This is my land!
21:58I make the laws here!
21:59Number 9.
22:01Evil Queen, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
22:03Snow White's stepmother
22:05is a few apples short of a picnic
22:06and perhaps the first sign
22:08was talking to her mirror every morning.
22:10The second sign
22:11was ordering her stepdaughter's murder
22:13just because the mirror
22:14thought she was pretty.
22:15Take her far into the forest.
22:18Find some secluded plain
22:20where she can pick wildflowers.
22:23Yes, your majesty.
22:26And there,
22:27my faithful huntsman,
22:30you will kill her.
22:32The queen also asks the huntsman
22:33to bring Snow White's heart in a box,
22:36which is pretty weird
22:37if you ask us.
22:38What was she gonna do with it exactly?
22:40When her first plan fails,
22:42the queen transforms herself
22:43into an old woman
22:44and tracks down her escaped victim,
22:46bent on finishing the job.
22:48She's definitely dedicated,
22:50but also certifiably insane.
22:52Thirsty!
22:53Have a drink!
22:54He's a rat who likes to think
23:01he's a mouse
23:02and he's based on
23:03Sherlock Holmes' nemesis,
23:04Professor Moriarty.
23:06So of course,
23:06Rattigan is stark raving mad.
23:08From the brain that brought you
23:10the big Ben Caper,
23:12the head that made headlines
23:13in every newspaper,
23:15and wondrous things like
23:17the tower bridge job,
23:18that cunning display
23:20that made Londoners sob,
23:22now comes the real tour de fox.
23:24His wicked henchman,
23:25Fidget,
23:26is pretty scary too,
23:27but Rattigan is even more unhinged.
23:29This criminal mastermind
23:31spends most of his time
23:32concocting devious schemes
23:33to outwit Basil of Baker Street
23:35when he's not playing
23:36the proud papa
23:37of his giant pet cat, Felicia.
23:39This frightening feline
23:40helps dispose of Rattigan's enemies,
23:42but being himself,
23:43as he would put it,
23:44a very big mouse,
23:46she's a crazy choice of pet.
23:48Did daddy's little honey bun
23:49enjoy her tasty treat?
23:54I trust there will be
23:56no further interruption.
24:00Number 7.
24:01Cruella de Vil,
24:02101 Dalmatians.
24:04With her black and white hair,
24:05a name that sounds a lot like devil,
24:07and a house called Hell Hall,
24:09Cruella was presenting
24:10a crazy face to the world
24:11long before she actually
24:12did anything wrong.
24:14The reckless driving
24:15was another dead giveaway.
24:17However,
24:17paying two heavies
24:18to break into your old school
24:19friend's house,
24:20steal her dogs,
24:21skin them,
24:22and turn them into coats
24:23is insane.
24:24And frankly,
24:25evil behavior.
24:26Not one shilling
24:27till the job's done.
24:28Jasper.
24:29You understand?
24:30Jasper.
24:31But it's here
24:31in the blinking papers,
24:33pictures and all.
24:34Hang the papers.
24:35It'll be forgotten tomorrow.
24:36I don't like it, Jasper.
24:38Buying,
24:39borrowing,
24:39and stealing 101 puppies
24:41in total
24:42is even more ludicrous.
24:43Why did she even need
24:44those extra 15 puppies?
24:46And does anyone
24:47really love fur that much?
24:48My only true love, darling,
24:51I live for furs.
24:53I worship furs.
24:57After all,
24:58is there a woman
24:58in all this wretched world
25:00who doesn't?
25:01Number 6.
25:02Yzma,
25:03the Emperor's New Groove
25:04Unexpected,
25:06semi-realistic villains
25:07with complicated motivations
25:08and tragic backstories
25:09are all very well.
25:11But Yzma's none of those things
25:12and we love her for it.
25:14I can't believe
25:14this is happening.
25:15Then I bet
25:16you weren't expecting this.
25:17No!
25:18Oh, okay.
25:22She's already sick
25:23of Emperor Kuzco,
25:24so when he tries
25:25to put her out to pasture,
25:27she decides
25:27to do away with him.
25:29She plans to enjoy it, too.
25:31Of course,
25:31this being a comedy,
25:33her hapless assistant,
25:34Kronk,
25:34makes an unfortunate error
25:35and Yzma's scheme
25:37goes awry.
25:38This isn't poison.
25:40This is extract of...
25:42llama!
25:43You know,
25:45in my defense,
25:45your poisons all look alike.
25:47You might think
25:47about relabeling
25:48some of them.
25:49Everything from her character
25:50design to her voice,
25:51provided by the one
25:52and only Eartha Kitt,
25:54makes Yzma iconic.
25:56Unhinged is the perfect
25:57descriptor for this
25:58fabulously evil
25:59grand dame,
26:00even in her kitten form.
26:02No, no!
26:02Don't drop it!
26:03I'm not going to drop it,
26:05you fool!
26:06I'm going to drink it!
26:08And once I turn back
26:09into my beautiful self,
26:11I'm going to kill you!
26:13Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
26:15Number 5.
26:17Madame Mim,
26:18The Sword in the Stone
26:19With Mad Madame Mim,
26:20the clue's kind of in the name.
26:23The eccentric antagonist
26:24of The Sword in the Stone
26:25just loves being evil.
26:27To her,
26:27it's all a game.
26:29I'm mad about games,
26:30you know.
26:31Well, come on.
26:33Get going, boy.
26:34You gotta keep on your toes
26:35in this game.
26:36Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
26:39Life's horrors bring her joy,
26:40and spreading a little fear
26:42is her favorite pastime.
26:44If Merlin represents wisdom,
26:45decency,
26:46and the order of things,
26:48Mim is chaos
26:49and immorality in action.
26:50She was going to destroy me.
26:52And just what are you
26:54going to do about it?
26:55Want to fight?
26:57Want to have a wizard's duel?
26:59She's bad to the bone,
27:00and she embraces it,
27:02the very definition
27:03of a wicked witch.
27:04Her duel with Merlin
27:05is one of the movie's highlights,
27:07and it's more unhinged
27:08by the moment.
27:09Morally gray characters
27:11may be in vogue,
27:12but Mim's magic
27:13is gloriously black,
27:14and so is her heart.
27:16Now, Mim, Mim,
27:17no dragons, remember?
27:19Did I say no purple dragons?
27:22Did I?
27:22Number 4.
27:24Ursula,
27:24The Little Mermaid
27:25The Scene Witch
27:26combines some of the most
27:27memorable Disney villain qualities
27:29while bringing a little
27:30something of her own.
27:31And don't underestimate
27:33the importance of
27:34body language.
27:37She's a power-hungry
27:39wannabe tyrant,
27:40a wicked witch,
27:41and a master manipulator.
27:43She boasts a cold heart,
27:44a hot temper,
27:45phenomenal magic powers,
27:47and all the sass
27:48and sarcasm
27:48of a drag queen.
27:49I admit that in the past
27:51I've been a nasty.
27:53They weren't kidding
27:54when they called me
27:55well a witch.
27:56But you'll find
27:57that nowadays
27:58I've mended all my ways,
28:00repented,
28:01seen the light,
28:02and made a switch.
28:03Three years.
28:05Unhinged?
28:06Without a doubt.
28:07Although it takes
28:07the death of her
28:08precious babies,
28:09Flotsam and Jetsam,
28:10to really set her off.
28:11In the final moments
28:12before her defeat,
28:13Ursula really lets
28:14that freak flag fly.
28:16And she would have
28:16gotten away with it too
28:17if it wasn't for
28:18those meddling kids.
28:19You pitiful,
28:22insignificant fool!
28:28Number 3.
28:29Hades, Hercules.
28:31As god of the underworld,
28:33with eternity to spend
28:34in the shadow
28:34of his big brother,
28:36Hades has had a lot of time
28:37to build up resentment.
28:38That resentment
28:39manifests in a number of ways,
28:41all of which make a case
28:42for his lack of sanity.
28:44People are gonna get hurt,
28:45aren't they?
28:46Nah,
28:47it's a possibility.
28:48It happens.
28:49It's war.
28:49But what can I tell you?
28:50Anyway,
28:51what do you want
28:51with these people,
28:52huh?
28:52We love the fast-talking
28:54quippy Hades,
28:54but his attitude
28:55isn't always appropriate
28:56for the situation.
28:58He's creative
28:59with his killing techniques,
29:00liking a spectacle.
29:02When it all goes wrong,
29:03though,
29:03his temper
29:04is something to behold.
29:06Whether he's releasing
29:06the Titans
29:07or torturing
29:08or torturing Hercules
29:08with the Hydra,
29:09Hades is an expert
29:10at making crazy
29:11look cool.
29:12I swear to you,
29:14Hades,
29:15when I get out of it.
29:16I'm the one giving orders now,
29:18bolt boy.
29:20And I think
29:20I'm gonna like it here.
29:22Number 2.
29:23Jafar,
29:24Aladdin.
29:25Jafar is another villain
29:26who presents
29:26a respectable face
29:27to the world
29:28and keeps his crazy
29:29hidden beneath the surface.
29:31At least at first.
29:31It isn't until
29:33the end of the film
29:33that we see him
29:34at his most unhinged.
29:36Jafar,
29:37you
29:37vile betrayer.
29:39That's Sultan
29:40vile betrayer to you.
29:42Oh yeah?
29:43We'll just see about that.
29:46Grand
29:46Finders keepers,
29:49Abu Abu.
29:51As Grand Vizier,
29:52Jafar plots
29:53to become Sultan,
29:54but when he gets his wish,
29:55it's just
29:56not enough for him.
29:57As he gains more power,
29:59his methods of torture
30:00become more creative,
30:01growing more deranged
30:02by the minute.
30:03In the end, however,
30:04Jafar's greed
30:05makes him vulnerable
30:06to manipulation.
30:07If he'd taken the time
30:08to stop and think,
30:10he might have realized
30:10that wishing to become
30:11a genie
30:12is a crazy thing to do.
30:14You wanted to be a genie?
30:15You got it!
30:17What?
30:18Everything that goes with it!
30:21No!
30:22No!
30:23I'm getting out of here!
30:24Phenomenal cosmic powers!
30:26Come on, you're the genie!
30:27I love you!
30:29Itty-bitty living space.
30:30Before we unveil
30:32our top pick,
30:33here are a few
30:33honorable mentions.
30:35Heffalumps and Woozles,
30:37The Many Adventures
30:37of Winnie the Pooh.
30:39Everything about them
30:40is unhinged.
30:41They're green,
30:42they're blue,
30:42they're pink,
30:43they're white,
30:43they're round,
30:44they're square,
30:44they're a terrible sight.
30:45They tie themselves
30:46in horrible knots.
30:47They come in stripes.
30:48They're locadops.
30:49Beware, beware,
30:51beware, beware, beware.
30:53Agent Pleakley
30:53and Dr. Jumba Jukiba,
30:55Lilo and Stitch.
30:56Gotta love a mad scientist
30:58and a mosquito enthusiast.
30:59Stop!
31:01I have just determined
31:02this situation
31:03to be far too hazardous!
31:05Don't work!
31:06I won't hit her!
31:06No!
31:07That girl
31:08is a part of the mosquito food chain!
31:11Here,
31:11educate yourself!
31:13Edgar,
31:13The Aristocats.
31:15Couldn't he have just
31:15waited for the cats to die?
31:17You aren't going to Timbuktu
31:21if it's the last thing I do!
31:25Tamatoa,
31:26Moana.
31:27He was a drab little crab once.
31:29You can try, try, try,
31:31but you can't expect a demigod
31:33to be the take apart.
31:35Look it up!
31:35You will die, die, die.
31:37Now it's time for me to take apart.
31:40You're aching hard.
31:41Chernobog,
31:42Fantasia.
31:43He's just a demon
31:44going about his business.

32:12Number 1.
32:13The Queen of Hearts
32:14Alice in Wonderland
32:16She's not the scariest villain
32:17or the fairest of them all,
32:19but this evil queen
32:20is still an icon.
32:22Mostly because
32:22she's completely mad.
32:24I bloody died all that!
32:26Get to the part
32:26where I lose my temper!
32:29As the ruler of Wonderland,
32:31she manages to reach
32:32new heights of Unhinged
32:34even among her own subjects,
32:35and that's saying something.
32:37The Mad Hatter
32:38and the March Hare
32:39are nutty by nature.
32:40Even the card soldiers
32:41seem to be living
32:42in a world of their own.
32:44But in this topsy-turvy world,
32:46one thing everyone
32:47can agree on
32:47is that the queen
32:48is on another level.
32:50I'm trying to find
32:51my way home.
32:52Your way?
32:53Always here are my ways!
32:56Her moods are erratic,
32:58and although she may
32:58smile to your face,
33:00you can never
33:00let your guard down.
33:02One false move,
33:03and it's off with your head.
33:05Yes, my child.
33:07Off with her!
33:09Consider, my dear,
33:10we've called no witnesses.
33:11Couldn't we hear
33:12maybe one or two?
33:14Huh?
33:14Maybe?
33:15Oh, very well.
33:16But get on with it!
33:19Which Disney villain
33:19would you least like
33:21to meet down a dark alley?
33:22Let us know in the comments.
33:24Don't turn your back
33:25on me, Scar.
33:26Oh no, Mufasa.
33:28Perhaps you
33:28shouldn't turn your back
33:29on me.
33:30Do you agree with our picks?
