00:00As far as momentum is concerned it's a short tournament and so given that it's a short
00:05tournament I think you want to maintain momentum and I think the Indian team given that they've
00:10started well and created great momentum for themselves in this tournament will want to
00:14maintain it because they're practically playing the next game on the bounce so it will be serious
00:20business for them tomorrow. Of course now Indians are through to the semi-final I mean you'd see
00:25this team going all the way and repeating the heroics of 2013. Yeah I think they seem pretty
00:31much favourites to do that to be honest. I think we've got the team, we've got the form, the bowlers
00:36are bowling well, the batters are batting exceptionally well, we've got the advantage of
00:42familiar conditions than other teams so obviously everything India stands to gain whilst going to the
00:49back end of the tournament so definitely a little bit of advantage for them. 300th of the eye for
00:54none other than Virat, Kofi, you know you played with the likes of Sachin, Soura, Bravo, 300th of the eye,
01:01what does it mean for a player of this stage of 14,000 runs, 51 tons in ODI?
01:05Well I think you reach a point in your career when you've played consistently so well that every
01:09other game you'd be breaking a record and I think Virat finds himself in that kind of a place and
01:14truly deserves it for for the kind of you know contribution and for what he's done for our country
01:19as far as batting and you know as an individual player is concerned he's done exceptionally well
01:25and truly deserves it. I don't think there's anyone who's made their debut in the last five years who
01:32will end up achieving 300 games in their career so I think this is a this is no mean feat so extremely
01:39happy for him. Of course a lot of people are questioning his place also in the side but the
01:43best way inside is by scoring a century at least to Pakistan. Well yeah it's uh it's par for the course
01:50isn't it in our country where uh you don't perform for for some time and then you're always they're
01:55calling for your head but uh I've always believed that a player of his caliber and players who are
02:00special uh deserve to have a long rope and he's done everything to you know auger that long rope for
02:06himself uh over the last year or so um and it's not like he's been out of form you know it's just
02:12that he hasn't performed to the high standards that he set for himself so in that sense um you
02:18know it's in that sense I think he still continue to do fairly well um but we'd love we've he's just
02:24got us so used to uh such a high caliber of performances that uh anything less than that then we start
02:30complaining um but we hope that he can continue to bat the way he's batting and bring us more laurels.
