00:00Et il m'a dit, let me tell you, kid, Requiem for a Dream, terrible title.
00:04A lot of people tried to talk me out of it.
00:06What are you doing? And this is bad for your career.
00:08There's a very funny story.
00:10I had just finished Requiem.
00:12I hadn't released it to the world.
00:14And I was in Hollywood and I got into a limo with this guy named Bob Shea
00:19who created New Line Cinema.
00:20He's a legend in America, in Hollywood.
00:24And it was just me and him in the limo.
00:25For some reason, we were driving somewhere.
00:27He was giving me a lift and he was like, let me tell you, kid, Requiem for a Dream, terrible title.
00:33I was like, dude, it's the name of the book.
00:35What am I going to do?
00:36So I didn't change the title, but he thought it was terrible.
00:38I think it isn't a great title necessarily, but it just shows you that, you know,
00:42like Google or Yahoo, all terrible titles.
00:45But now it's okay.
00:47And 25 years later, you're here talking about it.
00:49Yeah, exactly. So it's okay.
