00:00I mean, we can make it a musical.
00:02Everyone died, and it was crazy.
00:06My head is throbbing.
00:07Hi, diva.
00:08Hi, diva.
00:10I am obsessed with you saying that you just need a lot of things,
00:14and you just wouldn't survive in the apocalypse.
00:16Like, that has made me laugh so much.
00:18Do you still feel that in your soul?
00:21Today?
00:22Yeah.
00:23Probably more today.
00:24More today than ever.
00:25I need medicine as well.
00:27I drank so much last night.
00:29Oh, so there's hangovers in the room.
00:30Right, OK.
00:31Well, what about you guys?
00:33You're so sweet.
00:34Yeah, he's good.
00:35Just plays his guitar.
00:36I wish I knew you were hungover and I would have brought some cures.
00:40I mean, I would have brought you some iron brew.
00:41The Scottish are the best that cure in a hangover.
00:43Oh, I love it.
00:44I wish I knew.
00:46More alcohol.
00:47I just brought more alcohol.
00:48Well, there is that.
00:49But it was so nice.
00:50The premiere was so fun last night.
00:51I mean, how was it sharing the first episode with an audience?
00:55Oh, it was amazing.
00:56It was great.
00:57I wanted to be in both theaters,
00:58because I just felt, you know, just to, it felt so good to be there.
01:03My wife's family was here where they were, Dan and Alina,
01:06they were sitting next to me and they were really into it.
01:11Everybody laughed in the right places.
01:13It was nice.
01:13I mean, you say they laughed in the right places,
01:15but that first episode is, I mean, it hits you right away.
01:20Oh, yeah.
01:21How do we, how do we, you can't watch it be a hangover, surely.
01:24I was asking you this last night about how do we emotionally prepare,
01:27but how can we continue on, guys?
01:29I'm struggling.
01:30I don't think it's going to get any better.
01:33Um, you just have to hold on.
01:35It's like a therapy session per episode.
01:37Yeah, hold on.
01:38Rips you.
01:39But I need Catherine O'Hara for a therapy session,
01:42like after each episode, do you know what I mean?
01:45Speaking of drinking, yeah.
01:47She's phenomenal.
01:48She's so good in this.
01:49She's like four rye whiskeys in that session.
01:50Or smoking, yeah, because they pay for the sessions with weed.
01:54As you would in the apocalypse.
01:56Yeah.
01:57But obviously, you've been on a bit of a mini world tour,
02:00I would say, with this promoting us.
02:02I mean, how cool is it that you get to go around the world
02:05sharing this show that's so loved everywhere, like globally?
02:09Yeah, we started in Sydney, and then we went to Paris,
02:13and now we're here, and I'm heading to Bilbao.
02:15I think we're all splintering off and into our own little,
02:18you know, kind of cover as much ground as we can.
02:20I think Craig went to Madrid.
02:22And, yeah, no, it's unique, and, you know,
02:24it's not every story that impacts people this way
02:27and has the global reach that The Last of Us has.
02:30So we're just happy that we can come
02:33and share this experience with them because, yeah,
02:38these big kind of global press tours aren't the norm anymore.
02:41It's really reserved for really, really special,
02:44special instances.
02:46We're very thankful.
02:47My favorite part is being with you guys.
02:49Yeah.
02:50It's been the best part.
02:51Yeah, it's been nice.
02:53Is it nice, though, traveling to different places
02:55and seeing how it's impacted people
02:57from different areas of the world as well?
02:59Yeah.
03:00Well, I liked that they had the subtitles in Paris
03:04because I was just, I learned some of the language
03:07just watching the show, but, yeah, I'm sorry.
03:11What do you guys think?
03:14Well, I think it's a great connector.
03:16It crosses cultures and places and people.
03:21It's really cool.
03:22It's special.
03:25I agree.
03:26Yeah.
03:27What do you think it is about this world that does that?
03:29Because, obviously, it is quite heart-wrenching,
03:32but you can't help but get so invested in it.
03:35You want to watch more of it.
03:36It's an apocalyptic world.
03:38I mean, it's not all singing, all dancing in terms of, like,
03:41the energy.
03:42There's no musical.
03:43There's ain't no musical.
03:44But for some reason, we're all obsessed.
03:47Like, why are we like this?
03:49Hmm.
03:50I mean, we can make it a musical.
03:52We could.
03:53Well, I wasn't going to say anything, but.
03:57When Big Joel came to save Ellie,
04:01everyone died and it was crazy.
04:05And no one ever wants to live with the guilt
04:09of killing a hospital full of people.
04:13Dina, Jessie, and Tommy come along to join them.
04:20Everyone gets drunk in Jackson.
04:22Everybody gets drunk.
04:23And there's a love triangle.
04:25It doesn't rhyme.
04:26Why are we only talking about drinking?
04:30My head is throbbing.
04:31Guys, I'm so here for this.
04:33Honestly, I think you bringing this guitar has been,
04:36honestly, the best thing ever.
04:38Like, when you said I needed me last night,
04:39I was blushing.
04:40I thought everyone was going to hate me
04:41and kill me for this.
04:42Why?
04:43For yesterday.
04:43Yeah, I wanted to kill you when I saw you
04:45with this guitar.
04:46It's a crazy reaction.
04:48First thing she thought.
04:49No, I just.
04:49Now she told me that.
04:51Well, well, no, it was so funny.
04:53Because, yeah, I was walking down the street
04:55and I saw this shop and I went in.
04:57It was like 60, 60 pounds.
04:59And it's pretty cheap for a really nice little,
05:03kind of a classical guitar.
05:04But I just, we were talking all,
05:07this whole press store, we've been talking about
05:08how much we played in between takes, you know?
05:11And my fingers are just itching.
05:12And he had an electric that we can only plug
05:15into his computer.
05:16So he's like, I just, why do we wait this long?
05:18So I just grabbed it out of the store.
05:19And yeah, it seemed to be a hit last night,
05:22which was nice.
05:22It was such a hit last night.
05:23Honestly, I'm still like, when I watch the video back,
05:26if you said I need me, I'm like, oh my goodness.
05:27What did I sing for?
05:28I sang Buddy Holly.
05:29Buddy Holly's song for you.
05:30Yeah, you did.
05:31I'm jealous of your confidence.
05:32You're so, social anxiety is scared of you.
05:35Yeah.
05:36Social anxiety loves to see you coming.
05:37I'm like Chuck Norris.
05:38Social anxiety.
05:39Yeah.
05:40But overall then, how would you say the London side
05:44of the press tour has compared to the rest of the world?
05:47Yeah, it's been really great to get to see our pictures
05:52up in Piccadilly Circus and some really great pubs here.
05:57I met a bunch of friends, some kind of old fellas
06:02that we drank at the Salisbury.
06:04Once again, I think we have a specific thing on our mind
06:07right now.
06:08But it's been a good party.
06:10Yeah, a meat pie and a nice pale ale.
06:12A meat pie and a party.
06:13Exactly.
06:14Oh, sausage rolls.
06:15I love the sausage rolls.
06:16I miss the sausage rolls.
06:18I lived on sausage rolls in Ireland when I was there.
06:21Sausage rolls are meat.
06:23With the onion marmalade.
06:24A meat pie and a party.
06:26I mean, London's great for a party, but if you really
06:28want the proper party, Scotland.
06:30Yeah, there's Scotland.
06:31But we don't have time for that today.
06:32I know.
06:33Let's ask HBO.
06:34My great-grandma is from Edinburgh.
06:35Yeah.
06:36Dolores McFarlane.
06:37Wow.
06:38That's a proper Scottish name.
06:39Yeah, yeah.
06:40We were, we stole sheep, our clan.
06:42Well, that's what you've got to do.
06:43We've got to do.
06:44They call the moon the McFarlane's lantern
06:45because we would steal the sheep by the light
06:47of the McFarlane's lantern.
06:48Is that the generational karma?
06:50But only from our enemies.
06:51Yeah, only from the enemies, yeah.
06:52Of course.
06:53We distribute it to our, to our, to our friends.
06:55Well, I'll let you get some, a wee power nap,
06:58and then I'll see you later on tonight for round two.
07:01Yay.
07:02Yay.
07:03Yay.
07:04It's always easy to see you guys.
07:05Thank you so much.
07:06Good to see you too.
