00:00So I'm speaking to William who's the Sovereign Grand Master of the Royal Black Institution
00:06and we're just looking today at Operation Hope.
00:09William, can you tell me how and why you came up with the concept?
00:14Following the COVID, I was aware that lots of people had issues and troubles
00:19and were struggling with lots of things in their lives.
00:22So I took upon myself to think how we could help them as an institution
00:26and through that, Operation Hope was born.
00:30And for those who are not familiar with it, can you give us an outline of what it consists of?
00:36Operation Hope is built on the twin pillars of education and well-being
00:40and there'll be topics and podcasts and seminars held on issues that we would think are relevant
00:47to not only our members but to the wider community as well
00:50as we reach out to help ourselves and to help others in.
00:53So for people who are interested in seminars or the podcast,
00:56where can they keep up to date with where and when these will be released?
01:00These will be on our Facebook page as soon as everything is planned, probably in the autumn time.
01:06And you've also launched quite a comprehensive little booklet today
01:09that's covering all the different aspects of it.
01:11Yes, we have launched our first Operation Hope pack today with eight topics covered,
01:16but we do hope and pray that there'll be more, at least two to three more packs,
01:20plus backing up the seminars and, of course, podcasts.
01:23And for anyone that's interested in getting their hands on a pack, what's the best way to do that?
01:28The best way to do that will be look at our Facebook page in a few weeks' time.
01:32It will be up there as well to be read.
