00:00Come with me and you'll be in a world of pure imagination.
00:07Take a look and you'll see into your imagination.
00:21Now there's no chocolate river and no Oompa Loompas, but that doesn't mean this chocolate factory is any less magical.
00:26I'm standing next to a seven foot, 300 kilogram egg that boasts the record of being the biggest chocolate egg ever in the UK.
00:34Now the Easter Bunny mostly delivers plenty of small eggs, whether it's dark chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate, Hershey's, Kinder, Cadbury or any other type.
00:43But they might struggle to get this one to homes across the world, seeing as it's seven foot tall.
00:48Now it's called the Good Egg and Kokoba in Rochester decided to create the enormous egg after making two and four kilogram ones.
00:55But when one review challenged them to go big or go home this year to six or eight kilos, they instead decided to beat that by 40 times the weight.
01:02It's also in fact the biggest chocolate Easter egg that's ever been made in the UK.
01:07So we have a mold made for us.
01:09And then we basically normally with an Easter egg, you fill the mold with a hollow mold with chocolate.
01:14You put it on a spinning machine and it just like rotates around.
01:17Obviously you can't quite do that with an egg this size.
01:19So we decided to get a mold made for us, which was basically almost looks like a bathtub is probably the best way to describe it.
01:25And then just like basically filling it by hand and using tools to just get the thickness of the chocolate even all the way around.
01:32We made one half, then made the other half and then basically glued them together.
01:36After Easter, the company realised it might be a bit too much chocolate for one family.
01:40So instead they'll be melting it down into limited edition chocolate bars, the proceeds of which will all go to charity.
01:46How are you going to top this next Easter? Are there any plans in the works?
01:49Well, we need to look at it. We might need a slightly bigger factory, slightly taller factory to go bigger.
01:53I think this is about as large as we can go in here.
01:55So yeah, we'll have to spend the next year planning what we'll do next year.
02:00Well, for anyone looking for eggs for a particularly easy Easter egg hunt, you've found the best one.
02:05And it's up to Kokobo's chocolate engineers to try and beat their own record without breaking any more eggs.

02:16We'll see you next time.
