Auburn Tigers freshman quarterback Deuce Knight is thankful for all of the early reps he's getting in spring practice as he navigates the transition from high school to college.
Transcript
00:01Yeah, the spring has been great, you know.
00:03It's been a lot of competition, you know.
00:05We got great guys on both sides of the ball, so it's been good.
00:08It's just been fun to get out here and just play with all the guys.
00:12Are you competing out there with the expectation that you could win this job come to fall?
00:17I'm just going out every day just trying to get better.
00:21I'm not thinking about all that stuff, you know.
00:24Just trying to get better each and every day.
00:27Just trying to be the best team that I can and that's about it.
00:30How valuable are these reps for you, you know, getting a lot of them?
00:35It's been big because, you know, I'm a guy that has to go out there and do things,
00:39so, you know, getting all these reps has just been helping me learn the offense
00:43and just see different looks to everything I'm doing
00:46and just coming up with ways just to play faster and things like that.
00:50What's the transition been like from high school to college,
00:53athletically but also academically, socially, all that?
00:56Yeah, nah, it's been – I wouldn't say it's been hard.
01:00You know, it's been good.
01:02I would just say, like, managing time, you know.
01:05I feel like you got a little more time because I'm not in school for eight hours of the day
01:10and then I practice the next two, so, you know, I have a little more time,
01:14but, you know, it's been a good transition.
01:16It's all about business, so.
01:18Get me!
01:19Get back out of the company.
