Auf der Nintendo Direct im April 2025 hat Nintendo angekündigt, dass alle mit einer Switch 2 und einem kostenpflichtigen Switch Online + Erweiterungspass-Abo ab dem Launch Zugriff auf ausgewählte Gamecube-Titel haben werden. Direkt zum Start kommen The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, F-Zero GX und Soul Calibur 2 in den Service, weitere Spiele werden zukünftig folgen.
