00:00Good morning from Rome. King and Queen arriving later on today. Welcome to the start of the
00:06State Visit Italy video diary for all you GB News members who've been here before, haven't
00:11we? We're set up, ready to see some lives, into breakfast. The sun is shining. It's such
00:17beautiful weather. Hopefully it's going to get a little bit warmer. I had some great
00:20pizza last night and we're going to take you on a journey throughout the day for the King
00:24and Queen's arrival and of course for the next three or four days in Rome and Ravana.
00:27So we've just finished our morning lives for breakfast and Britain's newsroom, just
00:33walking, that's Coliseum again, back to our hotel for a little break and then we've got
00:40a meeting and then we also have some more lives this afternoon when the King and Queen actually
00:47arrive in a sleep. So busy day and I'll need to write stuff on the website and YouTube and
00:52there's Tol, producer Tol. Here we are, about to get onto the media bus to get to the airport
00:58to cover the King and Queen's arrival in Italy. That is happening very shortly so I need to
01:03rush on. I'll be writing some web copy for GBNews.com website so check out that as well. See you
01:08later. And here we are at the special airport that King Charles and Queen Camilla are flying
01:14into on the fixed point. There's a nice little VIP terminal for them. See all the journalists
01:21hanging around just waiting with all the cameras and then those steps there, there in the background
01:28are the ones which the King and Queen will walk down in probably about two hours time. Um, yeah,
01:35they make us get here very, very early and there's a lot of hanging around but it means I can get on
01:40with some of the writing for GBNews.com and we will be broadcasting the live on the TV and on radio
01:46and we'll be filming some stuff for breakfast tomorrow morning as well and it's such lovely
01:51weather here in Italy. Beautiful sunglasses, beautiful sun and I'm wearing sunglasses. Um,
01:56I will say more for the lives, I promise. See you later. And here we are, the King and Queen
02:02have landed. There's the UK government jet and Airbus something or other. Um, beautiful jet. I love
02:08how the fax has got a union flag, uh, on, on its tail. It's just brand written at its best,
02:13isn't it? Uh, but yes, you've just been commentating live in some Martin Dormny's show as the King
02:17and Queen arrived. They gave us a bit of a wave and a smile, us and the media pen, um, when they got
02:23into their car. So we've just done a couple of ads live and ads live for breakfast because we have
02:28to be traveling when breakfast is on there tomorrow morning and are throwing to a few clips or just recorded
02:32some things for YouTube as well. We're going to get back and edit. I need to also write an article
02:37for jubynews.com. So yeah, on the whole, it's been a great day and the weather, you can't have asked
02:42a better weather, not too hot, not too cold. And there's the UK government on the tarmac. The King
02:48and Queen have landed in Rome.
