00:00The Texas side showdown between the Arlington Renegades and the Houston Roughnecks turned
00:08into a defensive struggle as the Renegades took the game 11-9.
00:12I think for sure our front seven defensively is better and our secondary is stronger so
00:19you know that's how you come up with some of those plays there at the end.
00:22You know the secondary you know comes up and deflects a few plays and makes the plays when
00:28you need them to happen and you know that's how you end up on the positive side of these
00:34type games.
00:36Despite the offensive struggles, they put together an impressive drive in the late third
00:39and early fourth as Luis Perez found Deontay Burnett in the back of the end zone two times
00:44for the touchdown and two-point conversion.
00:46It was kind of one of those games right like just we're driving we're driving self-inflicted
00:50wounds credit to them as well.
00:52We just couldn't get a drive and sustain a drive we loomed the ball great we just couldn't
00:55sustain drives and defense did a phenomenal job keeping the ball back whether it was
00:59interception or going through and out or just doing a great job and giving us a good field
01:02position at the end to be able to come out with a win.
01:06The Renegades take their 2-0 record on the road on Friday as they take on the Birmingham
