00:00Full-time here outside of Craven Cottage and Liverpool suffered their first away
00:05defeat of the Premier League season, suffered a slight blow on the pursuit of
00:09the Premier League titles. Fulham 3-2 winners and they probably just about
00:13deserved it because Liverpool's poor defence in the first half was very much
00:18punished, they were lacklustre, they made rudimentary errors and Fulham took full
00:24advantage. Liverpool actually started the game quite well and took the lead in
00:28the 14th minute through Alexis McAllister, an excellent finish from the
00:31Argentina international. Liverpool won the ball in midfield, McAllister drove
00:37at the Fulham defence and charged his luck from about 25 yards, probably
00:42something the player of his quality doesn't do enough, Alexis McAllister,
00:45probably is deserving of more goals in this game but really good finish both
00:49to say it, Liverpool were architects of the Fulham downfall, Fulham back level nine
00:54minutes later, poor goal to concede for Liverpool as we have. Curtis Jones playing
00:59as a right-back again, I think his flaws as a right-back were just exposed
01:02because Kroos came in and he just didn't quite know what to do with it, he
01:07didn't know whether to take it down or just put his foot through it and in the
01:11end he sort of stuck his thigh out it and the ball fell to Ryan Sessegnon who
01:16credited to Sessegnon an emphatic finish and then Fulham took the momentum
01:22with them and he punished another Liverpool error, this time it was Andy
01:25Robertson playing a real criminal ball across his own box, fell to Alex
01:32Awobe and to be fair to Liverpool they got men back, Robertson was one who got
01:37back but Awobe's shot deflected off Robertson and found the back of the net
01:41and then Fulham made it three through Rodrigo Munoz, Liverpool defended the
01:46corner, Awobe went for goal, his volley went skies into the air and they
01:52got Virgil van Dijk challenging Munoz and Van Dijk just got bullied, he
01:57just got beaten to the ball, he tried to be a little bit too clever maybe instead
02:02of holding his ground and just trying to win the header and Munoz, what a touch and
02:06what a finish, maybe Kovin Keleher losing goal again, Valtersen Becher
02:10still out because of the following co-coaching protocol, maybe he should have done a
02:14little bit better, but in the second half Liverpool did improve but just couldn't find the
02:19way through, for a lot of it Diogo Diotta missed a big chance when he was
02:25slipped in by Mo Salah, then Mo Salah missed one at the back post, Salah was
02:29really quiet again, Luis Diaz came off the bench, he was really good, probably
02:35disappointed he didn't start, you can maybe see why because he played a lot for South
02:39America during the international break but he was electric when he come on and
02:44Conor Bradley made an impact as well and Liverpool got the consolation
02:49goal through the two substitutes combined, Bradley playing to Diaz and a nice
02:54finish, from there Liverpool maybe might be disappointed that he didn't go on to
02:57equalise, Javier Elias striking the woodwork, Federico Chiesa having an effort
03:04saved, Javier Elias having another effort saved late on, they just couldn't find a
03:08way through a stubborn Fulham defence and say Fulham were full value for the
03:13three points in the end, Liverpool were punished for their errors and it just
03:19delays the inevitable really, everyone knows that Liverpool are going to win the
03:22Premier League title and they had a chance to go 14 points clear of Arsenal
03:27because Arsenal drop-pointed Everton yesterday but instead you're
03:33looking at that Liverpool, if they've won the next three games because they've
03:36been Tottenham on the 27th of April where they've won it, now you're looking at maybe
03:40Chelsea again mathematically but look Liverpool it's probably starting to
03:45catch up with them this long season but they've got enough of a buffer to not
03:50make fans nervous, you know disappointing that they don't have that little boost
03:56of going unbeaten on the roads all season in the Premier League but yeah
04:01Liverpool fans who are travelling home won't be too mournful, won't be too disappointed because Liverpool are still very much on track to win the
04:08Premier League title, finish Liverpool 2 Fulham 3
