00:00Four hundred thousand pesos worth of shabu and gun were seized by a man in a buy-bust operation in Quezon City, refusing to give his house to the suspect.

00:09We have first news with James Agustin.

00:13Operatives of Batasan Police and Drug Buy-bust Operation were stationed in this part of Barangay Batasan Hills in Quezon City.

00:20The subject of the operation came out of a pedicab parked on the side of the road.

00:26He was able to get his items and money.

00:30There, the 22-year-old man was arrested by the suspect.

00:33His sling bag was filled with plastic containing drugs and a gun loaded with bullets.

00:40The shabu weighed up to 60 grams and cost four hundred and eight thousand pesos.

00:45His transaction was big because he was selling less than five grams to his parishioners.

00:51His area of operation is here in Batasan, Commonwealth and the nearby barangays.

00:56His parishioners are mostly pedicab drivers, drivers and of course,

01:01our small street-level individuals, our users, who are familiar with him.

01:07According to the police, the gun was not licensed from the suspect.

01:10It was one of the subject of a ballistics examination to find out if it was used in other crimes.

01:15Based on our investigation, this man is the leader of a group that is involved in the sale of illegal drugs and robberies in this area.

01:25The suspect was arrested before because of a hold-up.

01:28This is the third time that he will be jailed because of a drug-related case.

01:39The suspect denied that he is a member of the criminal group.

01:42He was charged with allegations of violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act

01:47and Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act in relation to omnibus election code.
