Two men escaped unhurt from the second floor of a prayer paraphernalia shop in Johor Baru when it went up in flames.

Larkin Fire and Rescue Department operation commander Abdul Wahab Nasir said the incident on Jalan Keris, Taman Seri Tebrau, was reported at 1.04am on Sunday (April 6).

00:38About 80% of the shop lot was damaged, while the adjacent unit sustained around 20% damage.
00:44An investigation is underway to determine the cause.
