Dozens of what appear to be Comelec-owned election paraphernalia are stored at a private residence in Santol Street, Purok Santo Niño, Dumanlas, Buhangin, Davao City, as of noontime on Saturday, April 5.

The Davao City Police Office (DCPO) has deployed personnel in the area pending the verification to be conducted by the Comelec Davao Region.

According to the police, the contents of the boxes are allegedly solar panels and Wi-Fi transmission equipment from Comelec Manila, intended for distribution to various barangays in the Davao Region.

The election equipment arrived in the residential area on March 30, according to some residents. (MB video by Keith Bacongco)
