00:00I had so much fun interviewing honorees, presenters, and guests with my fellow correspondent Jazzy.
00:23By the way, some of our talent were more starstruck by Jazzy than anyone else.
00:27Guys, we need to have a moment.
00:29Jazzy is growing up in front of our eyes.
00:31Are we, like, all emotional?
00:33Damn, girl!
00:35Benedict Palizzi gave our ladies some polite catcalls that made them giggle as they walked in to claim their awards.
00:44Damn, girl!
00:45You look like you cured everyone's anxiety.
00:50Are we ready to get this party started?
00:53Billboard Women in Music!
00:56The room was filled with sisterly love as the women honored each other for their impressive achievements in music to which only they can relate to.
01:08Being a woman, putting on these heels, and I'm a mom, and I'm a pop star, and I have no one who truly understands me except for all the superwomen in this room tonight.
01:19So, I love you so much! Thank you, Billboard!
01:23I did it!
01:25Tina Knowles honored her daughters in her speech.
01:28I want to thank my daughters, Solange, Beyonce, Kelly, Angie, and also Michelle, Latavia, and Latoya.
01:37Angela Aguilar's speech made us tear up as she honored immigrant women and called for their safety.
01:43I want to take this moment to raise my voice for the women whose voices are not always given a stage,
01:49for the women who leave behind everything they know crossing borders with nothing but hope in their hearts,
01:56only to find themselves living in uncertainty and fear,
02:00for the immigrant women in the country who work tirelessly, building and nurturing, sacrificing, yet still remain unseen, unheard, and unprotected.
02:09This one is for you. I see you. I honor you. You deserve safety, dignity, the right to dream.
02:17And if my voice and my music and my presence on this stage can remind you that you are not invisible,
02:23then I will sing for you every single time.
02:27Putting her money where her mouth is, she even had a local children's choir from the Harmony Project performing with her.
02:38Angela continued to honor under-resourced communities backstage.
02:42The party continued in our portrait studio with all the ladies catching up and taking flicks.
02:51I love a good yellow. And I can't find your waist. I've been looking for it since I saw you come over here.
02:56Don't find it. Don't even look. No, you're right. You're right. They checked out.
03:01And we had our girl Drew Afuelo giving flowers backstage as she interviewed our honorees.
03:06Huge fan. How are you, same? Oh, period. I hope you got that on camera, too.
03:11I lost a bunch of them. Why'd you find them? I would've sent it to you.
03:15Do you know your Big 3 first before I get into it?
03:17And, of course, like the Virgo she is, she read Billboard birth charts.
03:21Are you a Virgo? I'm a Virgo.
03:23Here I have, actually, your Big 3, but they're in Billboard Hot 100 terms.
03:28Oh, please.
03:30Do I get to keep this? Yes, of course.
03:32This is a big deal. Oh, my gosh. It is. It's such a women empowerment night.
03:36It is. Which we're big fans of. Not that we need a night every day.
03:40Miss Jenny is popular. Everyone's been like, oh, my God, when's Jenny coming?
03:43Me, too, but I'm playing it cool. You can't tell. I'm being real chill.
03:47You're professional. Oh, thank you.
03:49I need to know how to do this.
03:51I don't know how to do this. I don't know how to do this.
03:54You can't tell. I'm being real chill.
03:55You're professional. Oh, thank you.
03:57I need to know how to do this.
04:00It's okay. You have all the singing and dancing talent. I have the yapping talent.
04:05This is a love letter to you.
04:07We asked talent to give a love letter to the women of the world and sign it.
04:10You were that girl, are that girl, always be that girl. Love you, mama.
04:15Never take no for an answer, even if it makes you look like a dick.
04:20Suck hard. Keep it pushing.
04:36Making sure to take Polaroids of everyone who steps into our interview lounge for our Billboard Polaroid collection.
04:43Gracie Abrams thanked Taylor Swift as she accepted Songwriter of the Year before she performed I Love You, I'm Sorry.
04:49I've been lucky to learn from and write with some of the most wonderful and talented people.
04:54The incomparable Miss Taylor Swift.
04:59Summer Walker presented the icon, Erykah Badu, with her award and her outfit left us speechless.
05:06Billboard's Group of the Year, aespa, visited our backstage lounge minutes before heading on stage for the final performance of the night.
05:19The night ended on a high note with our Woman of the Year, Dochi, giving Erykah Badu her flowers.
05:31Dochi also made sure to give the woman on her team their flowers.
05:36I had a blast. I love Billboard so much. I will do it forever until someone makes me stop.
05:41Anyways, that's it. Love you. Bye.
05:43Another memorable Women in Music for the books.
