00:00In the second game, of course, it will be Duke and Houston.
00:04Here is John Shire, of course, taking over for the great Coach K.
00:08First time he is bringing Duke to the Final Four as the head man.
00:12Here he is.
00:12Well, it's it's it's special.
00:14You know, you feel a great deal of responsibility,
00:18you know, to be the head coach at Duke and
00:21you want for your players to be able to experience this.
00:25And so walking out there today for practice,
00:28I was just soaking it in like I was when I was twenty two years old,
00:30walking out for the first time.
00:32You know, it's the Final Four is is a once in a lifetime kind of thing.
00:37And to be a part of this being my my fourth Final Four,
00:41obviously first as a head coach.
00:43But if you're around great people, you're at a great place.
00:48It's something I'll never take for granted.
00:50But at the same time, I feel we belong here.
00:52You know, I feel this is what we've worked for.
00:54And so there's that that combination of amazing pride,
00:58wanting to soak it in, but then the incredible hunger
01:02and understanding what a challenge, you know, this game is going to be on Saturday.
01:05So for me, it's that combination.
01:08I think it'll be a challenge as well.
01:10But look, I thought their games that they
01:14struggled in were on the road, like in Little John, whatever.
01:17This is a neutral court, so it could be a struggle against Houston.
01:22I don't know if I believe Houston can shoot for 40 minutes
01:27against that defense and have a high percentage.
01:31I really don't. I look what they did to Alabama.
01:34That's all I need to see is what they do to teams.
01:37It doesn't matter where the game is.
01:39They just affect your shots, your everything about it, your space.
01:44You have no space.
01:47Getting open looks against Duke is nearly impossible.
01:49So I'm not surprised they're back.
01:52I think they're the best college basketball program in the country.
