00:00Leaving the international negotiations and relationships aside, if we just look domestically,
00:07this is a government that's going to need to unite the country on its own terms.
00:13How have you assessed, what's your verdict on how they face the challenges, the domestic
00:19challenges that they're confronting?
00:21Well, first of all, regards to your guests and your team, and thank you for giving me
00:28this opportunity.
00:31What's going on, I mean, this, that the new government, of course, I mean, all the Syrian
00:37people, they were happy and they were expecting a lot of things, but maybe they are facing
00:48the truth now, and the new administration, they are careful about to satisfy outside
00:56more than inside.
00:58Outside maybe there were some visits, and I'm in connection with the European countries,
01:04with the United States and the other, and everybody welcomed this new regime, and also
01:12the Arabic world also.
01:15But for the local issues, they didn't solve any issues till now.
