00:00As we get you ready for a weekend all-around sports, a really good Friday
00:05night slate in the Association as well. Just over a week remains in this NBA
00:10regular season. Most teams about five games remaining to end out the long
00:15grind that is an 82-game regular season. Pretty jam-packed slate, DRS, on this
00:21Friday, including a matchup of the two top teams in the Western Conference, the
00:26Oklahoma City Thunder, who have now won 11 consecutive games, covering in all 11
00:31victories, head to Houston to take on the Rockets. Houston, still three games clear
00:36of everybody else in the Western Conference for that two seed in the
00:41Western Conference postseason. Six and a half points spread in favor of the
00:45Thunder. Total stands at 228 and a half. Will OKC continue its win streak,
00:51getting to 12? Might the Rockets play, spoiler, improve something down the
00:56stretch of this regular season? Yeah, one of those measuring stick games that you
01:00take a look at for the Houston Rockets. No real moral victories as they want to
01:04stay in the number two seed, which means they want to win as many basketball
01:06games as they can, but at the same time OKC knows they get the best punch from
01:10everybody in the NBA. Why? Because they have the best record in the NBA and
01:14looking to win their first championship. If we take a look at some of the lines,
01:17opened up at six here at the FanBlue Sportsbook, now currently sitting at six
01:20and a half. Some other outlets as low as five and a half, so we're not exactly
01:23getting a pushover game that's saying it's going to be an easy victory for the
01:26Thunder. Anticipated starting lineups, SGA, Wallace, Dwart, Williams, and Holmgren
01:30for the OKC Thunder, and then for the Rockets, Van Vliet, Cleen, Thompson, Eason,
01:34and Shengun. For me, I usually like these step-up spots for the Rockets, but this
01:38late in the season, the only thing is, hey, we'll show you we can beat you. I just look at
01:42the most red-hot team, best team in the NBA. They're not laying down for anybody,
01:46particularly the number two overseas Rockets. Give me a double-digit Friday
01:51night victory on the road for OKC in H-Town.
01:55DRS, I think it's really difficult to go against Oklahoma City right now. Again,
02:0011 consecutive wins, a cover in all of those 11 victories, five times as a
02:06double-digit favorite here. They're only laying six and a half. The Rockets had
02:10that second-best record in the Western Conference, three-game advantage with
02:14only about five, six games remaining in this regular season. They should be the
02:18two-seeded, and yet it's a 35-to-1 price on Houston to win the Western
02:22Conference crown. Twelve, nine, and one against the spread this year for the
02:27Rockets as a dog, eight of those twelve an outright victory. Again, Houston hasn't
02:33been booked as an underdog all that often this year. It should prove the
02:36Rockets can hold their own water, and yet the odds-maker is not really expecting
02:41that. Golden State has been absolutely lights out. When the starting five looks
02:46like it did last night, that includes Jimmy Butler, Draymond Green, Steph Curry,
02:50Brandon Podjemski, and Moses Moody. But the second leg of a back-to-back, still
02:56in the same state, but last night they were in LA. Tonight they return to San
03:00Francisco. It's basically a pick-em price for the Warriors and the Nuggets. Minus
03:05116 on the money line for Golden State, over-under stands at 235. What do you see
03:10tonight by the bag? Yeah, it's interesting because we take a look at the line. Open
03:14up at minus one and a half as a favorite last night for the Golden State Warriors,
03:17and still sits at minus one at the FanDuel Sportsbook. Some other outlets
03:20still holding the one and a half, but also, before the show started, we were
03:23getting the Denver Nuggets as a one-point favorite at some outlets, which
03:26is no longer the case. You look at the total, 234 up to 235, and again, it's not
03:31a huge trap. It's not as if Golden State got on a plane and went to, you know,
03:33Madison Square Garden or Milwaukee or something like that. You're staying in
03:37the same state here, private jet up north. So, expected starting lineups,
03:40Curry, Podjemski, Moody, Butler, and Green. And also understand this, you're playing
03:44for seeding. So, on maybe a January night, maybe some of the Golden State Warriors
03:48would sit this one out, but not the case. And the Nuggets certainly need this game
03:51as well. I'm just gonna lean on, you know, Nuggets waiting on the Golden State
03:55Warriors, rested and ready in a pick-em game. I'll take the Nuggets tonight in
03:59that spot. D.R.S., this should be a victory for Golden State, or at least we
04:05should see a game at full strength between both sides. Of course, Denver
04:09losing in the double overtime thriller that Nikola Jokic had a 60-point triple
04:14double earlier in the week that nobody really played in the second leg of a
04:17back-to-back, but at altitude against San Antonio, even booked as a slight
04:21favorite, the Nuggets dropped that game. Denver right now, half game in front of
04:26the Lakers for the three spot. L.A. in the four, only a game in front of Golden
04:31State. The Warriors could catch the Lakers in host in opening round playoff
04:36series. How about the other L.A. team, that being the Clippers? L.A. in action
04:40tonight at home, taking on the Dallas Mavericks. Two play-in tourney teams at
04:45this moment, but a double-digit spread in favor of the Clippers. Will it be L.A. in
04:50overwhelming fashion tonight? It looks like it's probably going to be. Look at
04:54the opening line at eight-and-a-half. You see the graphic at nine-and-a-half.
04:56Currently on Fandle right now, it sits at ten. Other outlets as high as ten-and-a-half.
05:00Total up slightly to two twenty-five-and-a-half, but for me, you know, I just
05:03look at that starting lineup. Give me the big three. Harden, Powell, Leonard involved
05:06in that game. Double-digit victory for me for the Clippers at home in their nice
05:10little dome, intuit dome. The Clippers have been playing great balls of late.
05:15They've won eight of their last ten. They're only a half game out of getting
05:19through the play-in tournament and being in the playoffs right away.
