A 22-year-old Lincolnshire man has been banned from driving after crashing his car while more than twice over the alcohol limit.Charlie Taylor, from Bourne, lost control of his Mitsubishi Shogun following a night of drinking.Dashcam footage captured him plotting to report a fake car theft after the incident.In the footage, he was heard calling a friend and admitting he crashed after drink driving.Cambridgeshire Police were alerted after a member of the public spotted the car.Taylor appeared at Cambridge Magistrates' Court on 27 March, where he pleaded guilty to drink driving and using a vehicle without an MOT.He was disqualified from driving for a year.
