Transcript
00:00Hi, I'm Digital Reporter Amy Seddon, and welcome to another edition of 5 Things to
00:05Do Next Week across central Lancashire and the Fouth Coast.
00:10First up in South Ribble, Brockhull's Nature Reserve is hosting a Brockhull's Family
00:14Bat Walk on Tuesday 8th April. Running between 7pm and 9.30pm, the night will start with
00:21an introduction to these fascinating creatures and the equipment used to detect them, before
00:26heading out on the reserve for a walk to see if the bats are out and about. Two days later,
00:32on Thursday April 10th, they are then hosting an Adult Bat Walk, also between 7pm and 9.30pm.
00:39Adult tickets for both events are £15, whilst child tickets for the first are £10.
00:47In Trawley, the comedian Simon Evans brings his new show, Have We Met?, to Trawley Theatre
00:52on Saturday April 12th. Drawing on Joyce Prowse and the career of Philip Schofield
00:58to make sense of his own tangled past and possible future, Simon skilfully weaves comedy,
01:04pathos and narrowly averted cancellation into an unforgettable two hours of unique entertainment.
01:11The show starts at 8pm and tickets are £17.
01:15Over on the Fouth Coast, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is on at the Winter
01:21Gardens between Wednesday April 9th and Sunday April 19th. The multi-award winning show has
01:28been performed hundreds of thousands of times, including multiple runs in the West End and
01:33on Broadway, and has become one of the world's most beloved family musicals. This run also
01:38stars X Factor winner Joan McKeldrie as the Pharaoh. Tickets start from £23.75.
01:47The comedian Omer Dajjali then brings his new show, Namaste, to the Blackpool Grand
01:52on Sunday April 14th. In Namaste, the Persian comedy powerhouse peacefully bows to his inner
02:00anger and unleashes a torrent of comedic vitriol upon the current state of this dangerously
02:05messed up planet. Running between 8pm and 10pm, tickets are still available and cost
02:11£33 each.
02:14Finally, in Litham, Teach Rex Live comes to Laufer Pavilion on Thursday April 10th. This
02:21unique interactive show comes back to Litham after performing 45 shows at the Natural History
02:26Museum. Teach Rex uses lifelike dinosaurs to perform their one hour show, teaching children
02:33about the anatomy and life of one of the most mesmerising creatures that have ever roamed
02:37our planet. There are three time slots available on the day, and tickets are £12 each.
02:43So there are five top things to do next week, but whatever you're up to, have a good one!
