00:30Now today, we're going to be talking about Power Book 3 Raising Kanan Season 4, Episode
00:364, This is the Recap.
00:37I'm going to try my best to focus on all the key points in this episode.
00:42If I miss anything, you guys let me know down below.
00:45But in Episode 4, things turned up a lot.
00:48Know what I'm saying?
00:49Your girl, Juubot, caught her first body, she's embracing this lifestyle, and I can't
00:54wait to see what's next for her character for the rest of the season.
00:58She's about to turn up.
00:59We already know we see her with multiple straps in those trailers, so you already know what
01:03time it is.
01:04Y'all let me know what y'all think gonna happen to Marvin.
01:07Will he be able to make it out of the season alive?
01:10Will he get locked up?
01:11I think we all can agree that something bad is gonna happen to his character by the end
01:16of the season.
01:17I mean, I told you guys, that whole crime scene, Marvin left a lot of DNA.
01:22Fingerprints, DNA.
01:24I don't know if they're gonna go into detail on that, but as I told you, the guy had to
01:29be a military veteran, so maybe they're gonna investigate that a little bit more, and maybe
01:35something comes back, and it may not be good for your boy Marvin, so I cannot wait to see
01:41how this all gonna play out.
01:43And what y'all think about Damon?
01:44We smokin' on that Damon pack, I mean, I just don't get it.
01:48Come back for like two seconds and get dropped off.
01:51He should've just stayed in season two, know what I'm saying?
01:54But of course, they wanted to give us closure to that storyline.
01:57Damon, he's up outta here.
01:59You Nick don't give a damn.
02:00As long as he continues to destroy Rock's business, he good, and that's exactly what
02:05he's gonna continue to do.
02:06We already know what time it is.
02:07When he shows his face, when he lets everybody know that he is back, I know Rock is going
02:12to flip along with everybody else who thought he was dead.
02:16And once again, we get another episode letting us know that something ain't right with this
02:21whole famous storyline, and every time they mention famous, we know Lulu, he has a very
02:26concerned look on his face, letting us know he believes something bad happened to him
02:31along with Kanan.
02:33But we're gonna hop right into it, as I told you guys, trying to focus on those key points.
02:37If I missed anything, let me know down below.
02:39So what did we see in episode four, titled The Way We Were?
02:43And the episode starts out with the return of Tremont.
02:47We knew Tremont was gonna return.
02:49Rock, she just wants to punish this guy.
02:51Marvin catches him slipping, beats that boy down.
02:55The whole thing is just finding out who his plug is, but they're not telling him this.
03:00They just want to make him suffer.
03:01Now, we get to Rock and her moms, and of course, we get that conversation between the two.
03:06I was hoping we would get some type of closure, but it seemed more like an argument.
03:10Rock, of course, is pissed off that her mom did what she did as far as family dinner and
03:14giving the family that information that she has cancer and she is dying.
03:18And Rock, she's not the biggest fan of her mom and how she raised them, but her mom tells
03:23her, look, I'm not perfect or whatever.
03:26And basically, when she dies, when that happens, she's not gonna like the fact that no one
03:31is gonna miss her like that for real.
03:33Like no one really loves her.
03:35And Rock understands that that's not true.
03:38We can tell just based on the way Rock is acting that she loves her mom, but she's not
03:42a fan of some of the things that her mom did growing up.
03:45Rock tells her mom, look, you're just looking for forgiveness.
03:49That's all you're looking for, right?
03:51And I want to know if anything else happened when Rock was growing up that they're not
03:54telling us.
03:55Is there more family secrets?
03:57Hopefully, we find out the answer soon enough because we know grandma, she ain't got that
04:01much time left.
04:02Now, we get back to Tremont and Rock has shown up and basically, they just want his connect.
04:07That's it.
04:08He getting beat down.
04:10Rock ain't even got no bullets in the gun.
04:12They messing with the dude.
04:13He was in there struggling.
04:15Now, the only thing about this is Tremont is still breathing.
04:18I know on those promo trailers, they made it seem like he was going to go.
04:22But as I always tell you guys, they make it seem like something that's going to happen
04:25in those promos.
04:26But when you watch the episode, it's something completely different.
04:30Is this a mistake by Rock leaving a loose end?
04:33Because what she did to Tremont, I'm pretty sure he's not going to forget about it.
04:37And I would not be surprised if he tries to seek some type of revenge.
04:42You guys leave your predictions down below.
04:44Now, Kanan makes another mistake and Crystal, she is trying to tell him time and time again,
04:50don't do business where you lay your head.
04:53Like, dude, this is why y'all end up moving out of that apartment.
04:57It was too much going on over there.
04:59But OC, he has come to the apartment, of course, for a drop.
05:03And of course, in the last episode, we know Younique robbed him, but I don't trust it.
05:08I would not be surprised if he made a deal with Younique and, you know, he's setting
05:12up Kanan.
05:13I can be wrong, but what I do know is this, OC coming to Kanan's new spot is stupid.
05:20You do not bring him there.
05:21Now other people will know where you stay.
05:24Crystal telling him this, as far as doing business at his new apartment, it's going
05:28to come back on him because now he will be exposed to somebody, you know, finding out
05:33where he stays once again, which is a bad move, a bad business move, and it's going
05:38to put Crystal and anybody else that's there at risk.
05:42Now Kanan sets up the whole meeting with Crystal and Jukebox to finally squash their beef.
05:47We know Crystal set up Jukebox last season to get Jump, but Jukebox, she put those hands
05:52on those girls, right?
05:54Now Crystal apologizes to her, telling her she messed up.
05:57She is sorry.
05:58She was dealing with a lot at that particular time.
06:01Tells her maybe they can be cool because of Kanan.
06:03Know what I'm saying?
06:04She loves Kanan, but Kanan loves Jukebox even more, and she just wants things to work out
06:09between the two.
06:11Maybe they can start from there.
06:13Now Jukebox did tell her maybe, and she ended up leaving.
06:17Some fans believe that Jukebox is going to do something to Crystal.
06:19I say this, regardless if Jukebox does something to Crystal or not, I think Crystal is at risk
06:25because of that whole thing with Kanan doing business at the new spot.
06:28You just don't do that.
06:30Now we get to Lulu B Rilla, and of course we get introduced to the new character, Imani.
06:36We know she works for Low Street Records, and we know your boy Gelfan wants them all
06:41to work together, but it seems like Lulu ain't really trying to work with Imani like that
06:46at all.
06:47He's like, look, I don't need your help.
06:49I can do this myself, but y'all know Gelfan.
06:53He wants them all to work together, and he's going to tell Lulu this later on in the episode.
06:58Now B Rilla, he was up in there checking out Imani, because y'all know he probably want
07:01a piece of that, but we know Imani will be Lulu's love interest.
07:05Now Kanan goes and meets up with Snap and Pop Henry.
07:08He lets them know that he got robbed or whatever, and they're pretty much asking him, did Rock
07:13get robbed too?
07:14They want to know how much he lost and all this stuff, but they're putting these little
07:18small things in his head, letting him know that Rock is not somebody that they like,
07:23and they know that he does not have the best relationship with his mom.
07:26So it seems like they're trying to once again divide the two or whatever.
07:30And they tell Kanan that Quan wants to meet him.
07:32We know Quan don't like Rock, so it's very convenient for them to set up this whole meetup
07:37with somebody that don't like Rock anyway, and then letting him know that business is
07:41about relationships and all that stuff.
07:44The same thing that Crystal told him, and we know Kanan was talking about how he wants
07:48to be remembered for what he does, not what his family does, and we know they tell him,
07:53if you want people to see you as you, you got to let them know who you are.
07:57So as I told you, they're putting these things in his head.
08:00He's going to take this advice.
08:01He's definitely going to take this advice and try to make these deals with people that
08:04his mom is connected to without her knowing.
08:07Now we get to your boy, Younique.
08:09We saw some of this exclusive clip.
08:11He's up here ranting about making his return, showing his face.
08:15He's tired of sitting in the shadows while Rock is out here getting his money.
08:18And while he's having this conversation, Marvin pops up and he yells for early Tyler.
08:22So now he has to hurry up and go out there and have a conversation with Marvin.
08:28And we know Marvin, he is thanking early Tyler for what he's done as far as the whole thing
08:32with Gerald's daughter, setting that whole thing up.
08:35And he tells him, look, since he did that, he has, you know, a new job for him.
08:40Know what I'm saying?
08:40He understands that early Tyler does the whole gambling thing with the books.
08:43So he's trying to set this thing up with Stefano and Corona.
08:47And he's going to be working with some heavy hitters telling him, look, you're going to
08:50give me a piece of what you make.
08:52And you know, this is just our business arrangement.
08:55Look, I don't trust it at all.
08:57Ain't no way in the hell I'm bringing early Tyler around Stefano.
09:00I'm leaving that alone.
09:02But Marvin, he is getting entirely too comfortable, way too comfortable doing entirely too much
09:08in my opinion.
09:09And eventually this is all going to backfire on him.
09:11Now we get to the plum bar jukebox.
09:14She is kicking it with Mara and her friend.
09:16And of course, she's getting hit on by this girl named Jackie.
09:20And she tries to buy jukebox to drink, but jukebox was cool.
09:23And they're just laughing to her.
09:25Eventually she's going to loosen up or whatever.
09:27Everybody there is all like family.
09:29And we know jukebox tells her this is nothing like her family.
09:33And we know Mara ends up talking about her family and how they suck.
09:37And she gets very emotional.
09:39Now jukebox and Mara, they end up leaving the plum bar.
09:42And when they go outside, they run into this sicko Aaron.
09:46Now Aaron is Mara's husband.
09:49He's pissed off that she's kicking it with jukebox.
09:51All of a sudden, he walks up on them and he pushes jukebox down.
09:56She ends up scratching her face.
09:57Then he takes Mara and he throws her in the car.
10:00I mean, what the hell is going on?
10:03This dude definitely needs to catch a beat down.
10:05And that's exactly what happened by the end of the episode.
10:08Now Unique pops up in New Jersey to recruit Damon.
10:12We know Damon was pissed off about what happened to him
10:15back in season two when Rock gave up his work to Unique.
10:19Now Unique is telling him they have common enemies.
10:22Rock, she pretty much killed them both.
10:24And now he wants to work with him in order to get revenge on her.
10:28Now, Damon doesn't set this offer and he's going to help Unique get that revenge.
10:32But man, this dude did not last at all.
10:35I mean, as soon as everything started up, the boy got dropped off real quick.
10:39Now I did like when Unique was talking about his death
10:42and when he said rumors of his death have been greatly exaggerated.
10:46And that's true.
10:47The whole thing about Unique's death was real big last season.
10:50And of course, Joey Badass, he played right along with that, having fans all confused.
10:56Now Rock finally meets up with Isak after getting intel from Tremont about who is supplying him.
11:02And he tells Rock like, look, I can give you a better deal if you buy in bulk.
11:07Rock tells him, well, she wants a direct link wholesale.
11:12She pretty much wants to be the supplier.
11:15And she is trying to move some major weight.
11:18And Marvin tells him that they can't afford to have anybody between them and the product.
11:23He tells her, come back tomorrow, same place, same time.
11:25And maybe they can work something out.
11:27But he wants her to be alone.
11:29Now we get to Gelfin, Imani, and Lulu.
11:32We know Imani, she is there to help out Beerylla.
11:36Of course, she handles A&R.
11:38And Lulu feels like he doesn't need her at all.
11:40He can do everything by himself.
11:42And we know Gelfin tells him, y'all need to be a team.
11:45You know what I'm saying?
11:46Being a team is going to make everything better.
11:48And maybe the two should go out, get to know each other a little bit more.
11:51And maybe it will fix things between the two.
11:53And they do end up going out.
11:55They start talking about music.
11:57We know she just wants to help Lulu and this whole Beerylla thing.
12:00They also end up talking about Famous.
12:02She tells him that she thought Famous was going to be their next big star.
12:06But of course, Famous is nowhere to be found.
12:10Once again, Lulu is looking very weird.
12:12Like he knows something is up.
12:14Talking about Famous.
12:16You know what I'm saying?
12:16He's just trying to find himself.
12:18He's OK.
12:18I know how it is.
12:19Y'all know Lulu, he went through recovery.
12:21So of course, he understands how it is to step away and try to get yourself together.
12:26But deep down inside, he understands that something bad has happened to Famous.
12:29Now we know Imani wants Lulu to go with her to another spot because she wants to look for new
12:34artists.
12:35But as of right now, Lulu, he is good.
12:37But we know eventually these two will hook up.
12:39She is his love interest.
12:41And I want to know if their love life may affect their business relationship.
12:45Now we get to early Tyler, Marvin and Stefano.
12:49Now we learn about early Tyler's boss, Lump.
12:51And apparently Lump is cool with early Tyler doing business with Stefano.
12:55Stefano knows exactly who he is.
12:57So everything seems good.
13:00Now Stefano, he wants early Tyler to run his books down in Corona.
13:05He tells him all he has to do is take the action and keep the books.
13:08So things seem like they could be going quite well, right?
13:12Marvin tells him, look, early Tyler, he knows how to do all that.
13:16You good.
13:17Stefano tells Marvin, look, you're vouching for this guy.
13:20So if anything goes wrong, I'm going to come looking for you.
13:24Now Marvin tries to play it off like, man, look, you ain't got to worry about that.
13:27I'm right here.
13:28Know what I'm saying?
13:29It ain't going to be no issues.
13:31But we know what time it is.
13:33Early Tyler cannot be trusted.
13:36And he said the business was like a family business or whatever.
13:39And that lets me know something's going to happen.
13:42And I got a feeling and I can be wrong.
13:44And y'all let me know.
13:46Do y'all believe something's going to happen with Stefano and his daughter?
13:49We know his daughter is pregnant, right?
13:51So what if that spot gets shot up or whatever?
13:55And his daughter gets hit and he loses his daughter in his grandchild.
14:00That would be crazy.
14:01Now, I don't know if that's going to happen, but I think we all know that something will
14:05happen and it's all going to come back on one person, Marvin.
14:10And this whole thing where early Tyler is very risky as well, because if he is caught
14:14slipping up, he up out of here, whether he's up out of here by the Italians or up out of
14:20here by Unique, he could really be on borrowed time.
14:24But y'all leave those predictions down below on this move.
14:26Do y'all believe Marvin made the right choice?
14:29Well, I think I know the answer.
14:31Hell nah.
14:32Now, Canaan meets up with Quan and Quan is happy that Canaan is there.
14:36Now I'm saying talking about he's accomplished a lot at his young age, telling him about
14:40the whole price hike, knowing that that's very steep.
14:43But Canaan tells him, well, it's no problem.
14:46All you got to do is work harder.
14:47So we know Quan is loving that because Rock was not a fan of that at all.
14:52She had issues with it.
14:53But we know Canaan tells him, look, come to me.
14:56You know what I'm saying?
14:56If you got any issues, you know what I'm saying?
14:58Just come to me.
14:59My mom is kind of complicated or whatever.
15:01And it seems like him and Quan are starting off on a good note.
15:05And it's really because the two really don't like Rock at all.
15:08So we're going to see how this all plays out.
15:11Now we get to Unique and Damon.
15:13And now it is time to ruin Rock's business, her business partners.
15:18And they're going to roll up on Terry's warehouse.
15:20And the game plan is just to go in there and get the sprain at everybody.
15:24And that's exactly what they end up doing.
15:26But guess what?
15:27Damon gets dropped off real quick.
15:30So that whole thing with him trying to help Unique seek revenge was stupid.
15:35That boy up out of here, he is another person that's packed up easily.
15:41Now Unique has to get the hell up out of there because it ain't looking too good.
15:44But still, it has messed up things for Rock and her business associates.
15:48And we already know it's going to be some major consequences.
15:50Now Terry, he is pissed off talking about he is done doing business with her.
15:55And we know David is like, nah, we ain't done.
15:58Especially when Rock pulled out that money.
16:00It seems like he just wants to get paid.
16:03Meanwhile, Terry understands that this is very risky.
16:05And he does not want none of his peoples getting attacked.
16:09Now Rock tells them, look, we know who did it.
16:12It's an ex-employee.
16:13We're going to take care of it.
16:14And they understand that they have to figure out who else was with this guy.
16:18Because Terry told them that he was not alone.
16:21Which Rock is putting two or two together.
16:23Knowing that whoever did this hit the Golden Pavilion and hit up Canaan's spot as well.
16:27So the question is, who did it?
16:30Which we know the answer, it was your boy Unique.
16:33Now, we get to Canaan and Stefano.
16:35Canaan up here trying to make moves behind Rock's back.
16:38Stefano is a real G.
16:40He's like, hell nah.
16:41He said your mom paid $500K to save your life last season.
16:46And he's like, look, he ain't about to make no moves with him.
16:50I mean, you shouldn't be going behind your mom's back in the first place.
16:53Canaan ain't really feeling it.
16:54But of course, Stefano, he's standing on business.
16:57And of course, he has a lot of respect for Rock.
16:59And he's not about to allow Canaan to come in there to make any type of moves.
17:03Now, Marvin walks in on Jukebox while she's pretty much cleaning up her face.
17:08And he's like, what the hell happened to you?
17:10Who put hands on you?
17:11And is setting up the ending of the episode where Marvin has to go to that Aaron guy's spot.
17:16And of course, get revenge.
17:18Now, Rock goes to meet back up with Isak.
17:21And this time, he wants her to get into his car.
17:23Rock was looking kind of shaky.
17:25Like, I don't know about that.
17:26Especially since she's by herself.
17:29I mean, it's a risk.
17:30But of course, in this business, you have to make those risks.
17:33And that's exactly what Rock end up doing.
17:35Now, she ends up meeting with this new character.
17:37Now, I believe his name is Hafiz.
17:39And his description states that he's a high-powered, clean-cut, Afghan importer
17:44who appreciates a luxurious lifestyle almost as much as he appreciates discretion.
17:50Now, we know Rock, she wants to get into the import business.
17:53He tells her, look, that means he's going to have to hire new workers for sure.
17:58And, you know, he'll keep in touch with her.
18:00He just wants somebody that's solid and that's thoughtful.
18:03And, you know, hopefully this whole thing could work out.
18:06So, you know, your girl Rock, she's very happy.
18:08This is probably the best move that she made the entire episode.
18:11Because besides that, we know she was taking all types of L's because of your boy, Unique.
18:17But I'm eager to see how this relationship is going to continue to grow.
18:20Only thing is with Unique out there lurking, he can mess up everything.
18:25And this deal that Rock is about to make could end up being a bad move,
18:29especially if Unique is out there messing things up.
18:32Now, your boy, Unique, he goes to Teresa, Sabo Sully's wife,
18:36talking about we got common enemies.
18:39And he's pretty much telling her that he wants to take down the people
18:42that's responsible for putting her son and her husband in the ground.
18:46And, of course, she wants payback.
18:48She wants the person to pay for what they've done, right?
18:51And she's going to give him the connect to Phil Russo.
18:53So most likely we're going to see him in next week's episode.
18:56Your boy, Unique, he on one.
18:58The sad thing is we know Teresa, she was not involved in Sabo Sully's business.
19:03So she don't know that Unique was one of the guys that was going back and forth with them
19:07at the end of season two, teaming up with Rock.
19:10She don't know that Marco, her son,
19:12the only reason that he did business with Marvin is because of Unique.
19:16So he plotting and planning real good.
19:19Know what I'm saying?
19:19But y'all know he's going to take advantage of this Phil Russo connect.
19:23And I cannot wait to see how it's all going to play out.
19:25He is moving real smart this season.
19:28Now we get to Kanan, Lulu, and B-Rilla.
19:31B-Rilla is still staying with your boy, Lulu.
19:34And we know Lulu tells Kanan that apparently B-Rilla told him if he stays by himself,
19:39he gets into all types of drama.
19:41Well, eventually he going to be by himself and eventually he going to slip up,
19:46or at least that's what a lot of fans are predicting.
19:49Now, Lulu and Kanan, they start talking about Famous.
19:51They don't know where he is at.
19:53We know Lulu talked about how he had a conversation with Jessica
19:57and Jessica said that he is not out there in California and she sounded kind of scared.
20:02So Famous is still missing.
20:03And both Kanan and Lulu feel like something bad has happened to Famous.
20:07I told you guys, hopefully in this next upcoming episode,
20:10we finally get that answer.
20:11Now we get to Rock and the detectives end up coming to her spot,
20:15letting her know that Andre Barnes is up out of here.
20:17Scootball Senior got dropped off.
20:19They're just asking her questions about where he could have been or went after.
20:23They end up meeting up.
20:25Rock does not know anything, right?
20:27And she's not really telling them too much, but she's very upset.
20:30As I told you guys last night, she now understands that she is really under attack for real.
20:35And taking out Scootball Senior is a big deal.
20:38We know he had all types of intel on the inside and now Rock loses that.
20:42So we want to see how she makes her adjustments by the end of the season.
20:46But as of right now, your boy Unique is definitely on the come up.
20:49Now we get to the end of the episode, the part that everybody's waiting on.
20:54Marvin and Jukebox, they go to Aaron's spot.
20:56And right before they go up in there,
20:59Marvin gives Jukebox his gun, which was a smart move.
21:01Know what I'm saying?
21:02Luckily, she got that strap.
21:04Now when Marvin goes in there, he does knock the dude down.
21:07But when you knock a guy down like that, you cannot allow them to get up,
21:11which Marvin allows the guy to do.
21:14Not only did he get up, he's able to get his knife and he got to slicing and dicing
21:18because Marvin decides to walk away like it was over.
21:21Really?
21:22You don't do that.
21:23And then Marvin gets sent to a table.
21:26What's going on?
21:27Marvin is bleeding out.
21:29We know the dude had to be in the military, or at least that's what I'm thinking.
21:32We saw his medal and we saw the flag.
21:35This could come back as far as this storyline.
21:38But as he was about to take Marvin out, Jukebox pops up right at the perfect time.
21:43And she gets the kill shot.
21:45She catches her first body.
21:48Now, after that, they got the hell up out of there.
21:50And when they're in that car, did you see the look on Jukebox's face?
21:55She's loving this.
21:56This ain't the old Jukebox no more.
21:58She is on a different level.
22:01The fans, we've been waiting for this.
22:03We've been waiting for Jukebox to catch her first body.
22:06And now the time is here.
22:08Some fans say she's still not at her perfect form on some cell type stuff.
22:14She need about two to three more bodies to complete the full transformation.
22:18Will we see that?
22:19Well, we gon' see it eventually.
22:21But the old Jukebox from season one, that's not here anymore, y'all.
22:25We about to see a whole new animal.
22:27We talking about unique and how he's turning up.
22:29We need to pay attention to your girl, Jukebox.
22:33She's about to be the one that's really about to turn up.
22:35And I cannot wait to see how it's all going to play out.
22:39But overall, man, this was a very good episode.
22:41I could not wait to see episode five.
22:44Also, I forgot to talk about Kanan.
22:46When he walked in on Snaps and Pop, he saw law enforcement up in there.
22:51So he knows that they got some type of deal going on.
22:53But when you're in the game, everybody has some type of law enforcement
22:57that they're making deals with in order to get intel.
22:59So that could be that or it could be something else.
23:03But overall, man, this was a very solid episode.
23:07And you already know we gon' talk about episode five real soon.
23:10So get those theories and predictions ready.
