00:0010 Basketball Legends were immortalized last night after being named to the prestigious
00:07list of the PBA 50 Greatest Players of All Time.
00:10They are Nelson Aceitono, Jeffrey Carriazo, Junmar Fajardo, Bong Hawkins, Abby King, Danny
00:18Siegel, Scotty Thompson, Arnito Webles, Manny Victorino, and Yo-Yo Williamin.
00:24According to PBA Commissioner Willie Marshall, the selection process for the 50 Greatest
00:28Players was thorough and meticulous, carried out by a committee composed of retired players,
00:34coaches, and veteran journalists.
00:58Benji Paras also expressed his agreement with the idea that any player who wins the MVP
01:09award should be automatically included in the list of the PBA's Greatest Players.
01:14This argument is shared by many, which is why players like Fajardo and Thompson, who
01:18despite still being active in the league, have earned their sports on the prestigious
01:22list.
01:23PBA legend Alan Kaidik, a member of the selection committee, reminded fans that every PBA supporter
01:42has their own perspective and favorites.
