Nintendo Switch 2: Bigger, bolder, better than ever

00:00Hi, my name's Vicky. I write about gaming for The Standard and we are here in Paris

00:04to get some hands-on time with the very exciting Nintendo Switch 2.

00:08So, let's go in and have a look.

00:16So, first impressions with the Switch.

00:18We've just had some hands-on time with it.

00:20We played their new game Mario Kart World.

00:22And yeah, from first impressions, it all looks very exciting.

00:31I'm just having some time with the new Donkey Kong game.

00:35Donkey Kong Bonanza.

00:37And it's the first new Donkey Kong game in 25 years.

00:41So, that's very exciting.

00:43And I can tell you one thing.

00:45It has a way better resolution and controls and graphics

00:49than any of the Donkey Kong games that have come before it.

00:52So, we've just had some time with the new Mario Party Jamboree for the Switch 2.

00:56And it's all new games, but I think what's really exciting

00:59is it's giving us a chance to test out the new Joy-Con controllers.

01:02So, if you look at these here, you know, lovely matte black colour.

01:05Come to the little C button here for the new game chat functionality,

01:09which we really haven't had the time or chance to test yet.

01:12And I think what's most exciting is the fact that these bad boys can be used as a mouse.

01:19So, after all that excitement, when can we actually play the Switch 2?

01:28It is coming out on June 5th, so about two months from now.

01:32And you can get your hands on your very own for US$449,

01:36so that is £340 around British Pounds.

01:40From what we've just seen now, it's going to be very exciting indeed.
