00:00The Malaysian Union of Users wants the authorities to monitor 3,500 premises

00:06under the Asas Rahmah Funding Programme

00:09to ensure that supplies are always sufficient

00:12to ensure the effectiveness of the relevant initiatives.

00:15Chief Executive Officer of POMCA, T Saravanan said

00:19the monitoring is necessary to resume the processing of goods in certain premises

00:24easily.

00:25POMCA's income has increased to RM5.4 million since April 1,

00:30compared to RM700,000 before this.

00:32The Ministry of Finance also announced an increase in the amount of assistance

00:35to RM2,100 per year compared to RM1,200 before this

00:40for the household income of the Rahmah Funding Programme and IKC.

00:44Saravanan said POMCA welcomes the government's initiative

00:48which not only reduces the cost of living

00:50but also increases the purchasing power of the people.

00:53As well as the Malaysian Union of Users and Customers,

00:56Muhammad Syuhurbudin Sahubar Ali also hopes

00:59the government will consider further increasing the number of participants,

01:02especially the customers, in the SARA Programme,

01:05not just the big market.

01:07In addition to SARA, the government has also provided an STR

01:09which both have a balance of RM13 billion

01:13through the 2025 spending

01:15to help alleviate the burden of the group from various categories.
