00:00Hollywood has lost a beloved actor. Val Kilmer best known for his roles as Iceman in 1986's Top Gun.

00:34cancer battle to himself. It wasn't until 2020 when he opened up about his health struggles
00:40revealing that he underwent a procedure on his trachea that left him with a raspy voice.
00:44Throughout his decades-long career Kilmer appeared in numerous iconic films aside from
00:49Top Gun and Batman including Willow, The Doors, True Romance and Heat. His documentary Val
00:55premiered in 2021 with his last acting credit being 2023's Top Gun Maverick, the sequel to
01:01his action flick with Tom Cruise. The only reason I'm here is you. Filmmaker Michael Mann who
