00:00Some motorists still went to the EDSA busway even though the operation was prohibited this morning.

00:16Despite the high fine for illegal passage of the EDSA busway,

00:20many riders still continued to pass through.

00:23The fine is Php 5,000.

00:26A motorcycle rider escaped from the hands of the Special Action and Intelligence Committee for Transportation, or SAIC.

00:35The rider was chased by the enforcers who were stationed at the end of the operation at Mega Q Mart.

00:41Others were not registered motorcycles and did not bring ORCR.

00:47Some of the riders we talked to said that they passed through the EDSA busway because they were in a hurry to get to work.

00:55I just took a look, I just went a little bit, I just turned, and I came back right away.

01:01I'm late, ma'am. I came from the wrong place, ma'am.

01:03Ma'am, where did you go?

01:04Tapasig.

01:05Ma'am, I'll be late for work, ma'am. We don't have anything to do, ma'am. It's really prohibited.

01:12A car was also caught and stopped by SAIC.

01:15A reminder from the MMDA, aside from buses, only authorized vehicles of the LTFRB can pass through the busway,

01:22such as emergency vehicles and some government vehicles.

01:26SAIC also commanded traffic for several years to reduce the weight of the traffic during the rush hour earlier.
