00:00Arrested in a separate operation in Rizal, the two men accused of molesting two minors, the two men who are both guardians of the victims, were denied the accusation.

00:11EJ Gomez has the first news.

00:16Inside his house in Barangay Pinugay, Baras, Rizal, the police cornered this 57-year-old man who is accused of molesting an 11-year-old victim.

00:30According to the police, the man was arrested as a guardian of the child before his mother left to work abroad.

00:45The accused is a family friend.

00:49The incident of molesting the victim happened twice.

00:55It happened in 2023, May and July.

00:59The crime was reported last 2024, June 2024.

01:08The accused denied the molestation.

01:12He was taken care of as if the two children were his own children.

01:17I didn't touch the child.

01:19I was not at home.

01:24I was at work.

01:26I forced them to have children because I felt sorry for them.

01:29I was the one who talked to the mother.

01:31There was no way for them to have children.

01:36Based on the investigation, the victim did not immediately report to his parents because of the fear of the accused that he would be released.

01:44Last March, the arrest warrant was issued for the accused.

01:47He was charged with statutory rape and rape by sexual assault.

01:52In Barangay San Isidro, Angono, Rizal, the police also arrested the 63-year-old accused of molesting a 10-year-old woman.

02:00The accused is a guardian of the child and is considered his grandfather.

02:05The accused started molesting the 10-year-old woman in 2019.

02:15In 2022, there was a forceful molestation of the victim.

02:22According to the accused, Alias Joel, the victim went to his caretaker for four years.

02:28He said that he only kissed her on the cheek, not on the cheek and on the forehead.
