00:23The current request for an interim release for the former President Rodrigo Duterte

00:28Vice President Sara Duterte said that they will still ask for the return of the former President in the Philippines.

00:34I fear for his life in the Philippines,

00:36but we follow what the client wants,

00:39what President Duterte wants, and he wants to go home.

00:43The International Criminal Court said that if it will allow him to return to the Philippines,

00:48the government must accept the conditions related to this.

00:51But Malacanang also said that it will not help the ICC.

00:55We did not ask for the palace or anything.

01:03Well, that is something that they have to think about.

01:05The story of Vice President Duterte after his visit to the ICC detention center yesterday,

01:09they said that they will talk about it now

01:11after the former President Duterte talked to supporters

01:14who don't know about the case facing the International Criminal Court.

01:18We have a relationship now, a father-daughter relationship

01:22since we cannot discuss anything legal anymore

01:25because it is understood inside that only the lawyers can discuss legal matters with the former President.

01:34So we only discuss about family.

01:36And this has been one of the longest meetings I have had with the former President.

01:51And now I have this every day with him, talking about life, talking about family.

01:58And for that, I feel like I am blessed.

02:04It's just sad that it has to happen inside the ICC, inside the detention center.

02:09For this, Vice President Duterte is thankful to President Bongbong Marcos.

02:26for all that has happened in our lives.
