00:00Many of you already know me. I've been friends with for a long time. I'm the president of Partidos of Pilipino.
00:13It's a party that's focused on neurodevelopment, channeling our resources to help the LSUs and the Paraguayans.
00:25I grew up in the Visayas and Cebu is a place I consider home for many years.
00:35I used to study in San Carlos, pre-law and law. In fact, when there's a lot of traffic, it's easy to ride a jeepney from 6A to San Carlos.
00:55I think it's the same route, 6A, 6B, 6C. If you want to go to USA Talamban, you take 13C, right?
01:05I grew up in Cebu, but I don't have a permanent home. My home is in Ticuau.
01:16We're doing this because I feel that we'll discuss more about party principles later, but thank you very much for being here with us.
01:26I'll introduce our second nominee and our VP for External Affairs, Mr. Beaver Lopez.
01:36Good evening, everyone. Thank you for coming this evening. I'm Beaver Lopez from Manila. I'm the second nominee.
01:54The PBB is all about rural development. We're international development to the Paraguay level. Basically, I think a lot of you would wonder why I'm running for public office.
02:11Some of my old colleagues are here tonight from Sky Cable. It's nice to see you this evening. As I said, I've been working for more than 35 years, working both for my family and my own.
02:29I decided that while I'm still young, I think I'm still young and I can still go around the country. In the last 10 to 12 months, we've been able to go around the country and see a lot of places and meet a lot of people.
02:44Yes, we've seen a lot of things that could be better, a lot of things that we can improve. I believe that's one of the few things that I want to do is to be able to give back.
02:57As I was saying, I've been working for 35 years. When my father was still alive, he would always tell us, it's time. You guys are better. You have to learn to be able to give back.
03:12We've been blessed. Our family's been blessed. It's time to give back. I believe that it's time now to give back. I tell people I'm doing this because I just want to help. I want to help our kababayans. I want to help our countrymen.
03:29Yes, I am from Manila. I'm Manila-based. I've been spending more time in Iloilo because my father's family is from Iloilo. Although I don't really speak Ilongo, I want to help. I just want to help.
03:59I just want to help.
