00:00Election 2025 is just 40 days away.
00:11The preparation of the Commission on Elections continues as well as the information given to the voters
00:16on how to use the new automated counting machine.
00:20And on the spot, we have Sandra Ginaldo.
00:23Sandra.
00:26This is the voter information sheet of ComELEC in Barangay 70, SB Harrison, Pasay City.
00:32Associated with ComELEC Chairman George Erwin Garcia,
00:34Senate Commissioners Ernesto Macedo Jr., Ray Bulay, and Nelson Celis.
00:40The PPCRV also included the voter information sheet of BIS
00:45is being distributed to 68 million voters nationwide.
00:49It contains the name, address and precinct number of the voter. Inside, there is also an instruction on how to vote using the Makinaw ACM.
00:58There is also a list of candidates. According to Garcia, they should share the BIS with the media so that it can reach the Filipino voters
01:07who will come to their homes as Comelec representatives to receive the BIS.
01:13The voters are also being allowed to sign as proof that they received their BIS. Garcia also received information that other people are being disrespectful
01:26or that the people who signed are lying because they might use their BIS.
01:32Garcia will ensure that the Comelec personnel are in uniform and have an ID to go to the voters, even though this is not the first time the Comelec is giving the BIS
01:43and they want to give it to the voters.
01:49One of the people who received the BIS is Ms. Melva Urgel. She said it will help her and she will use the lists so that she can vote quickly in the upcoming election.
02:01She will also read the instructions so that she can know how to use the Makinaw ACM.
02:07Garcia called on the public not to care about the BIS and to accept it and sign it.
02:16Another thing, Garcia reached out to the captain of the barangay and told him that he will accept it, but he still gave the BIS to Garcia.
02:28He said that in their area, there are registrations of many people, but only one address.
02:36According to Garcia, the complaint can be filed to the Comelec and they will take action.
02:42The former president of the Comelec will remember the so-called flying voters, where the voters can move through the barangay certificate.
02:53Now Raffy, Garcia said that the voters in Myanmar will be voted by the Comelec through post or by mail.
03:04In Thailand, the internet voting will continue.
03:07That is the last report from Comelec Raffy.
03:11Thank you very much Sandra Aguinaldo.
