00:48Strength and self-awareness to say,

00:55House Democrats stand with you.
00:59And we are all standing together against the fascist lie
01:03that our bodies are not our own.
01:06That non-white means non-qualified.
01:09That billionaires are more worthy of dignity than working families.
01:15On his first day in the Oval Office,
01:19Trump signed an executive order to try to erase treatment and care.

01:36We are here to organize and fight for trans rights,
01:43for health care, and freedom, and liberation.
01:47Your visibility shows them.
01:49Republicans will never take your existence from you.
01:55And while they fight to take your freedom,
01:58your visibility, and your joy away,

02:04Of our transgender ohana.
02:07But hear me, my friends.
02:10In meeting of those stones, monuments,

02:19We all do. We all belong.
02:22We are truly what makes this country.
02:25Your Medicare, Social Security, and Medicaid are being slashed and burned
02:30because of their greed, not because of trans people.
02:34And living wage jobs and affordable housing in America
02:39have been destroyed because of greedy CEOs and private equity companies,
02:44not because of trans people.
02:47Strip the very programs that keep us working.
02:51Today is a day to honor and lift up the lives and the legacies
02:56of trans and non-binary people across this country,
02:59to recommit ourselves to true dignity and equality and respect
03:05for every single person, and to build our power to resist.
03:10Because make no mistake,
03:13I don't want you to be confused about this. I know you're not.
03:16They know we are powerful.
03:19It's just not true.
03:24LGBTQ plus rights in this country.
