Lo ha detto Fabrizio Zichichi, executive project director di Lendlease all’incontro “Campus Mind: il primo passo per gli studenti”, promosso da Lendlease, università degli studi di Milano e Ream Sgr in occasione della posa della prima pietra del primo studentato a Mind, il Milano Innovation District.

01:14In fact, Mind has various connotations, so it does not only represent a district of innovation, science and life,
01:22but it also wants to represent, and must be sooner, a city and a neighborhood for young people.
01:30In fact, as of 2027, the resident population of Mind will reach over 30,000 inhabitants
01:37and, coincidentally, over 50% of this population will be under 30.
01:43This under-30 population, of course, will be not only linked to the presence of students
01:49who will live in the new campus of the University, but we are also talking about young researchers of the Human Technopole,
01:55young doctors and nurses who work and attend the Galeazzi Hospital,
02:00students of the ITS Campus, of the Restoration School of Botticino,
02:05and, why not, also of all those young talents who, together with their startups,
02:11will live the new offices and laboratories within the district of Mind.
02:15So this is a day for young people, for the future of Mind.
