00:00Maybe the government will be able to help the Filipinos affected by work and housing in Myanmar
00:06because of the strong earthquake.
00:07In fact, the Philippine contingent went to Myanmar to deliver aid.

00:19The number of Filipinos unaccounted for or missing in Myanmar is still remaining at 4
00:24after the magnitude 7.7 earthquake hit Viennese.
00:27According to Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Eduardo de Vega,
00:30the Filipinos most affected are those in Mandalay, which is the closest to the epicenter of the earthquake.
00:36Most of the Filipinos working are teachers, office workers, and travel agents.
00:41According to de Vega, some Filipinos are also asking for help.
00:4610 Filipinos are asking for assistance,
00:49not because they were hurt, but maybe they needed to move to another place or lost their jobs.
00:56Our embassy is asking for financial assistance and authorization.
01:01We will give over $100,000 for expenses for the needs of our countrymen.
01:10The Philippine contingent also went to Myanmar to help in humanitarian and disaster response efforts.
01:17The said contingent was also sent by the Philippines after the strong earthquake hit Turkey.
01:23As of now, no Filipinos were hurt or injured in the earthquake in Thailand.
01:28No one is asking for repatriation from Myanmar and Thailand to return to the Philippines.
01:33For those Filipinos unaccounted for or missing in Myanmar,
01:36please notify the embassy by the number shown on your TV screen.

01:52Meanwhile, 17 Filipinos are still under police custody in Qatar
