00:19This is our second time at LACME Fashion Week and I feel the welcome we get from Pearl Academy
00:26and from everybody at LACME has been amazing and yeah it was great fun walking, I think
00:31that's a dream that every actor, we all dream that we will go to LACME Fashion Week once
00:38and this is our second time so I think we are very lucky.
00:46So, it's a coming of age love story, so it has a little bit of everything, it is romantic,
00:52it has drama, it has a lot of good songs, it's a musical, it's whatever you want out
00:59of the film, we are serving it to you on a platter, on a silver platter but honestly
01:04let me just, just a single line I would say, it's a coming of age heartbreak wherein a
01:09guy finds out you know what he wants to do with his life after he goes under a heartbreak
01:14and it's honestly like every 20 year old out there right now and I mean yeah you have to
01:21watch it to understand you know what exactly we are.
01:29I think the collection was very innovative, when I first got to know that there is only
01:33one guy and this is his theme, I was quite, I was thinking what can it be, what designs
01:40will there be but I feel they've outdone themselves, all the designs were so innovative from the
01:45colour theme to the colour palettes, everything was fab so I really loved it.
01:50It was very nicely blended together, you know like how love, passion, you know like the
01:54waking for yourself, it's so beautifully put together that we did not feel any seam between
01:59all the four segments and it was very beautifully put together by all the people out there,
02:04so yeah kudos to them.
02:10Being comfy, comfy is fashion for me, I mean something which you can rock, be it home,
02:15be it outdoors, I mean look at me right now, I am just wearing my sneakers, some black
02:19jeans and a nice t-shirt, if you feel comfortable in it and if you are confident in it, I think
02:23that's fashion for you.
02:24For me, it's a mixture of being comfortable and being yourself, I think whatever you wear
02:29has to be a little bit of a reflection of yourself as a person, so I try and do that
02:33as much as I can.
02:39Being in the film industry, see always, being a child I've always dreamt of being in front
02:46of the camera, if that naturally makes me a part of the industry, it just makes me wake
02:53everyday with a thing in my head which is like, what will Mannu do today, which is exactly
02:58what Vyom thinks, what will Vyom do today and being in the industry is genuinely such
03:04a warm feeling, this is something that I've always wanted to do as a child, so I mean
03:11this is just a blessing honestly, I am not prepared for this answer but it's a blessing
03:15for me, I think yeah that's a single word on, it's a blessing, what is it for you?
03:20I think yeah, it's a dream come true, I feel and since we have started the film, started
03:27the shoot, started the rehearsals, I think everybody has been so welcoming including
03:31Sanjay sir, Jannat ma'am, Sharad sir, Vivek sir, everyone is so warm and welcoming, so
03:38I feel we didn't feel like this, there was no intimidation at all, I think we had been
03:42waiting for this for so many years, I don't think there was any intimidation, it was just
03:47that yes, finally it's happening.
03:55There was, there was a lot but I feel it's a journey and you're always ready for it,
04:01if you know that you have to do this, you have to be ready for the ups and downs, the
04:05failures, you have to be mentally prepared that it will happen, it's not going to be
04:08an easy journey but I think everything in life and especially the best things in life
04:12don't come easy, so yeah now since we're finally here, it's just exciting and it's covering
04:18up for all the years that we've really put into it.
04:21See, any industry, it's not just film industry but any industry, getting to the top is obviously
04:26tough and being in the film industry, it's a cutthroat competition obviously and you
04:32only notice when you're at the top, it's not like the other industries where you can
04:35like just somehow manage to be in the middle somewhere but you know, for you to be at the
04:38top, you have to put in the work, put in the efforts and being an outsider, very honestly
04:43if you're passionate about anything, I mean, it doesn't matter really, like being an
04:47outsider, if you're already in the industry, you have to put in the work and this is
04:53something that I really enjoy, so I think the work comes naturally to me and yeah,
04:57touch wood, let's see what happens next.
04:59Oh, he's a walking, talking institution, yeah, you work with him and you're like,
05:04you know, everything which comes out of his mouth, you need a pen and a paper to
05:09just jot it down because, you know, I mean, he's so experienced, like at this point,
05:15I mean, I've learned a lot from him, like someone told me right before I was going
05:19on the set for Garmi, someone told me that, you know, like working with him for 50,
05:2260, 100 days, it's like, you know, you're having two FTIA degrees, so yeah,
05:27two FTIA degrees, so that proved right, very honestly, that proved right for me.
05:38Absolutely, it's, you know, helping all the budding writers, directors, creators,
05:42actors, everyone who are coming forth because 70mm used to be a medium only for
05:47the people who are like inherited, who used to, you know, like have it on the
05:51silver platter but now thanks to OTT, thanks to different platforms, thanks to
05:54Jio, thanks to all the platform, be it micro content, which is also coming up
05:59and brewing now, that all the people who want to make content, want to be part of
06:03the film industry, now they're getting a chance and honestly, thanks to OTT,
06:07because in the last 6-7 years, people have understood what the content bar is,
06:11now they've set the standards because, you know, now, right now, I can pull out
06:14my phone, I can watch an international series on my phone, so if I know what a
06:18good action movie looks like, I would not be sufficed with something which is
06:21coming out in Bollywood, right? So, yeah, thanks to OTT for setting up the bars
06:25high and thanks for letting us all in, so that's a good grassroot level entry
06:28for all of us.
