This is the terrifying moment bare-knuckle boxer Stevie Taylor was left convulsing on the canvas, after being brutally knocked out by a single punch, during his clash with Conor Cooke on Saturday night.

The sickening KO occurred less than 25 seconds from the end of the first round at Planet Ice Altrincham in Greater Manchester, where Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) made its return to the UK with a stacked card of fights streamed live on DAZN.

Both fighters launched right hands at the same time in a dramatic exchange at light heavyweight, but only Cooke's connected.

Cooke's thudding blow landed flush on Taylor's temple, immediately sending the Englishman sprawling to the mat.

Taylor's legs gave way beneath him, and he crashed backwards, his body stiffening and then twitching in a deeply distressing scene that has since gone viral on social media.

The referee waved off the bout instantly, before urgently calling for medical assistance as Taylor lay prone on the canvas.

Medical staff rushed into the ring to attend to Taylor, whose condition following the incident has not yet been officially confirmed.

Cooke, now 5-1 in his bare-knuckle career, recorded the victory officially at 1:41 of the first round.

The former gloved boxing prospect looked sharp throughout the brief contest, maintaining his composure even as the atmosphere grew tense following the devastating finish.

Their bout was part of a busy BKFC Manchester card, headlined by Gary Fox's first-round stoppage of the previously unbeaten Jonno Chipchase to capture the BKFC UK featherweight title.

Elsewhere, Jack Cullen made a successful debut with a first-round TKO of Jakub Kosicki, while Gaz Corran also impressed on his debut by blasting out Dawid Chylinski inside 80 seconds.

The event marked BKFC's latest expansion into the UK fight scene, building on their recent shows in the United States.
