00:00So we have Ali Hakim, Ada Wanne and Will Parker from the current production meeting their counterparts from the 1969 production of Oklahoma.
00:10Donald Hill, what part did you play in the 1969 production?
00:15I played the part of Will Parker.
00:17Will Parker. And have you any advice for our Aidan here who's playing it?
00:21Well, probably the advice I would give him is when he's singing Kansas City, that's a big number and that's the first thing he does when he comes on stage.
00:29He really has to attack it and give of his very best.
00:34And the dancing, pay a lot of attention to your dancing.
00:39And what are you most looking forward to, Aidan, about playing the part?
00:42Well, funny enough, it would be Kansas City.
00:45I'm really excited just to show it to audiences and stuff.
00:50Just like first impressions do, because it's my first show for Oklahoma.
00:55I just want to make a strong impression. I think Kansas City is the best way to do that with all the dancing, if you like.
01:00Excellent.
01:01My memory, further memory, too, is going down to our own home in those days called Derrycraft down in the quay.
01:08And my memory, I went down, not every day, but quite frequently to dance the part.
01:16And I must have lost a stone during the show.
01:19Lovely, thank you.
01:22And now we have our two Aero Annies, Nonny and Amy.
01:25Amy, what are you most looking forward to in playing Aero Annie?
01:29I think I'm most looking forward to, again, I can't say no.
01:33Especially the orchestra.
01:35When I get the orchestra together, I think it's going to be great.
01:38Nonny, have you any special memories of playing that part?
01:41Oh, yeah.
01:42Particularly, I can't say no, because it was quite the highlight.
01:47To make it very humorous as well as singing.
01:52And, of course, it's a great show.
01:55Just even listening to the music, it makes me feel very nostalgic.
02:00Lovely, thank you.
02:02And then our two gentlemen here, we have Ali Hakim, past and present.
02:06Alistair, what are your memories of playing that travelling salesman, Ali Hakim?
02:10Oh, well, I loved it.
02:12I loved it because I had this lovely lady, Aero Annie, beside me.
02:18I loved that.
02:20And, of course, I think my best advice to him is remember that he's a shifty character.
02:27He's purveying naughty pictures and all sorts of things.
02:33He's a really shifty character.
02:35Excellent.
02:36And no better man, Ricky.
02:38Thanks.
02:39What are you looking forward to most about playing Ali Hakim?
02:42I'm just really looking forward to getting to work with these two.
02:46The chemistry I think we all have is really, really good.
02:49And I think there's a lot of humor that can be found within the character.
02:52And like you say, he's a very shifty sort, but he's super cheeky with it.
02:56So I like being able to do that.
02:59It's not something I do very often.
03:01So it's nice to try something different.
03:04Excellent.
03:05Well, thank you all very much.
03:06And we're all looking forward to Oklahoma in the Millennium Forum from the 9th to the 12th of April.
