00:00With NFL Free Agency all but behind us, the Buffalo Bills have one glaring hole on their
00:04roster that they have to address in the 2025 NFL Draft. In this video, we're going to talk
00:09about what that need is and why it's so important that they get it right.
00:15What's up, everybody? It is Jon Helmkamp with A to Z Buffalo. So NFL Free Agency has come and gone,
00:21and the cornerback position outside of Christian Benford still remains a giant question mark.
00:26The Bills did sign veteran Dane Jackson to a one-year contract, but that seems like it's more
00:32of a Band-Aid temporary solution than a long-term one.
00:36Brandon Bean is armed with 10 picks going into the 2025 NFL Draft, including
00:41five picks in the first four rounds. He has a lot of ammunition to go out and get this right,
00:46and it's incredibly important that he does so. Christian Benford is locked in. We know that
00:51he's a stud. He's one of the most underrated cornerbacks in the entire NFL, but outside of
00:56that, they elected not to resign Rasool Douglas, and they traded former first-round pick Kyer Elam
01:02to the Dallas Cowboys. That means that cornerback is wide open on this roster,
01:07and they need to add some guys to that room. The NFL Draft coming up, there's expected to
01:12be somewhere in the ballpark of eight to 10 cornerbacks drafted in the first two rounds,
01:18and with three picks in the first two rounds, this gives the Bills plenty of opportunities to do so.
01:23I know that Bills fans are probably still a little bit gun-shy from that Kyer Elam draft
01:28selection, but don't be surprised, depending upon how the board goes, if cornerback is the first
01:33position that the Bills end up taking in this year's draft. There's multiple options, and we
01:37have plenty of time to get into some of those prospects over the next few weeks before the
01:41draft starts, but expect almost with certainty that there's going to be at least one cornerback
01:46selected in the first two rounds for the Buffalo Bills in the 2025 NFL Draft. Let me know what you
