00:00When you're ready. Okay, great. Well, hi everyone.
00:07Thanks, everyone.
00:09Thanks very much for coming. The Labor team is here on the day the election is called
00:15really to start this campaign with a very strong message of a record of achievement of what we've done to date.
00:22We have an opportunity for Australians to actually vote for
00:27candidates who are going to come to this place and show the courage to put
00:31Australians first.
00:33I have absolutely loved
00:35representing this wonderful community of Canberra over the last six years and I really want to continue doing that and I want to be re-elected
00:42to help re-elect an Albanese Labor government that's going to continue building
00:48our future as a nation and caring about our city.
00:51So I'm really excited about this campaign.
00:53I've done a lot of work hearing from Canberrans what they what they like, what they'd like me to
00:58focus on going forward and I'll be pushing hard on that.
01:00This is my hood, right? This is where I grew up. This is where I went to school. This is the place I hung out on the weekends or after school at the plaza, it was called then, not Westfield.
01:14Like to look at it now, to look at what's happening at this part of Canberra, the investment, the activity,
01:21you know, it's amazing as a girl from the Woden Valley to come back and see what can be done and
01:27really, that's what Labor governments do. They build communities and they build town centres like this and
01:33I'm really proud because the people here with me today have been a big part of that story.
