00:00At least five people were critically injured in a stabbing attack in central Amsterdam.

00:08The incident happened near Dam Square in the southern part of the Dutch capital.

00:13The suspect behind the attack has been apprehended by police.

00:18This afternoon there are multiple people stabbed by one person.

00:23They're wounded and they're brought to the hospital.

00:27The suspect in this has been arrested and also wounded.

00:30At this moment we're investigating what happened.

00:34Eyewitnesses say the incident was horrifying.

00:37I was calling her on the bench, and where the step is at the end, there was a girl and
