00:00Touch me there, sensitively, use your tongue, foreplay.
00:06♪♪♪
00:11I think I only truly, actually discovered my clitoris
00:15at 25 or 26.
00:17It's so funny that you actually had to find something
00:19that was always there.
00:20I did find my clitoris when I was 18.
00:24I was 21.
00:26I know that's quite late,
00:27but I was quite sexually unaware.
00:31I think I was 28.
00:32Surgery was part of my transition
00:34because I felt like I needed it
00:36to feel comfortable in my own skin.
00:39It's a very personal choice, just like a haircut.
00:41I was aware of what it was,
00:44but I didn't discover the joys and the pleasure of it
00:48till I was 18 years old.
00:49♪♪♪
00:52You might be surprised to know that the clitoris
00:54isn't just the P-shaped button at the top.
00:56That's just the tip of the iceberg.
00:58It is a seat of pleasure.
01:00It is literally one organ,
01:02which has no other function apart
01:04from providing pleasure to its owner.
01:07♪♪♪
01:11A few years ago, I played the clitoris
01:13and the character of Klitika.
01:15You know, it was really interesting and fascinating
01:16to see how many people in the comments
01:18didn't understand who I was.
01:20We had boobs and vagina and anus,
01:23and we had all the other body parts.
01:26And a lot of questions were like,
01:28who's Kani's playing?
01:29And I found that fascinating.
01:31Like, people don't even know that it exists.
01:34It's about knowing what to do with it
01:38and not just going for it because it's there.
01:42And it can be different for different people.
01:43For the partners of people with vulvas,
01:45it's worth being clitorate.
01:47I do think, though, that it is difficult
01:49to communicate about your pleasure
01:51if you yourself don't yet fully understand it.
01:54♪♪♪
01:58A wonderful discovery.
02:00Like, it can give you a sense of empowerment.
02:02Masturbation is normal, is fun,
02:05is a gateway to sexual self-knowledge,
02:08and should be enjoyed shame-free.
02:10It's necessary sometimes,
02:12and it's stress-relieving.
02:14Whoo!
02:14It's God's gift to you because
02:17when you don't have anybody,
02:21you have yourself.
02:22And that don't mean I don't need no man,
02:24but it also means that,
02:26hey, it's me time.
02:29♪♪♪
02:33Femininity, as such, is a very social concept.
02:36We have to de-link femininity and physiology
02:39because they're two different things.
02:40For women, we're not encouraged to seek pleasure
02:43or to feel entitled to pleasure
02:44or to prioritize our pleasure.
02:46The concept of pleasure is considered frivolous,
02:49and it's not.
02:49It's also super taboo.
02:51It wasn't even labeled in many versions of Grey's Anatomy,
02:54which is an anatomy textbook.
02:55♪♪♪
03:00Mind-blowing.
03:01I couldn't believe that I could be so comfortable
03:04with my skin and experience such euphoria.
03:07It's fab.
03:08It's fab.
03:09It was life-changing.
03:11It was literal stimulation.
03:12It's a very reliable route to orgasm.
03:14♪♪♪
03:18For the longest time, it was all about faking it.
03:20Then I just got tired.
03:22I can't be acting everywhere.
03:24But now I'm vocalizing
03:27and verbalizing my requirements and my needs
03:29when he's not sleeping, ideally.
03:31For me, it is a huge priority.
03:33Most people with vulvas do not orgasm
03:36from penetration alone.
03:37I think there is such beautiful honesty
03:41and this moment of just personal,
03:46you know, all guards down kind of a situation
03:48where you can tell your partner
03:49that you have finished.
