00:04Forbes surveyed billionaires in late February and early March, 35 of which answered the
00:09question which president is the best in U.S. history.
00:13Of them, only one anonymous respondent called Trump the best president, while two others
00:19didn't select him but wrote positive messages about his presidency.
00:23Other presidents who received only one vote include Dwight Eisenhower, George Bush, Franklin
00:29D. Roosevelt, and John F. Kennedy.
00:31Here are the top four presidents.
00:34Barack Obama and Bill Clinton shared fourth place with two votes each.
00:38They followed George Washington with three votes.
00:41In second place is Ronald Reagan with 10 votes.
00:44One billionaire stated, quote, Reagan ushered in a new era of conservatism that had been
00:49absent for more than 50 years.
00:52And the president who billionaires believe was the best in U.S. history is Abraham Lincoln.
00:57According to a different survey by C-SPAN in 2021, which polled historians, Lincoln
01:03also took the number one spot.
