Bruce Forsyth hosts the return of The Generation Game, with Rosemary Ford assisting him in this episode first broadcast on September 28th 1990. The contestants on this show are Ozkan Muskan & Sarap Stopparan from London and Prue Anderson & Will Sampson from Kent & Manchester, plus Barbara & Jonathan Gold from London & Essex, and Peter Genove & Theresa Ebbsworth from Hampshire & Wiltshire. Among the somewhat unusual games for them in this episode is a Laughing Policeman competition (with surprise guest star Ken Dodd), "Wood Game, Wood Game" (painting wood patterns on paper), table arranging (not as bizarre as it sounds) and "Gondola Napkins" (which is exactly what it says, but includes the contestants trying to twist them while navy personnel sit on them!). The finale for the remaining two see them compete in a singalong 60's style with girl group The Fabulous Singlettes. There are some game and lively contestants, with one even outwitting Bruce during the introductions when he discovers that he can roll his eyes in different directions. His response to Brucie is superb. Enjoy.
