Snake catchers were called to a family home after the owner discovered a reptile had slithered into a wardrobe.

Latoya Corbett, 30, and Daniel May, 34, from Narellan snake catcher, were called to a home in Sydney, Australia, on March 16.

The snake was identified as an Eastern Brown Snake, which Daniel says is the second most toxic snake in the world.

Daniel said: "We were called out to a home on Ellis Lane, Sydney, to relocate this dangerously venomous Eastern Brown Snake from a young girl's bedroom.

"These snakes are responsible for the majority of snakebite cases in Australia."
